  1. While the result wasn’t as hoped, Williams’ comments highlight football’s essence: passion, perseverance, and teamwork. Notts County’s resilience is praiseworthy, demonstrating their readiness to tackle challenges. The role of nearly 3,000 travelling Notts supporters is significant, reflecting the fanbase’s love and loyalty. Williams’ recognition and appreciation of their unwavering support is heartening.
  2. I am thrilled for the upcoming match against MK Dons. Despite our recent promotion, we have been holding our own and showing that we belong in this league. On the other hand, MK Dons are looking to bounce back from a setback and reestablish themselves as a top team. With both teams having different motivations and strategies coming into this match, it’s sure to be an exciting contest. May the best team win! Come on you Pies!
  3. MK Dons aren’t undefeatable, but they are a good side. I think it will be a good gauge to see where we stand compared to another team in very good form, both home and away. If we take the lead, it must be defended and protected to the best of our ability because they can get back into matches.
  4. Long may it continue, because Meadow Lane has been crying out for seasons like this for years. The stability and the way the club is moving forward would bring a smile to Jimmy Sirrel and Jack Wheeler.
  5. I fully agree with John Bostock. The end game is the goal. Push on, Notts. You Pies!
  6. Today was a test of patience for the lads, and us supporters too. The Shrimps were on the backfoot almost throughout, relying heavily on their defence to get at least one point out of what was clearly a lacklustre offensive display. You have to accept such tactics as part of the game, especially in away fixtures. Our lads tried their best to break through the barricade but fell slightly short. That being said, it's only game 3 and we already saw a lot of positives to build on. The defence was meticulous in its duty, ensuring a clean sheet. And while the attack was yet to fire on all cylinders, their effort cannot be undermined. With a few tactical tweaks from Williams, we have every reason to expect a much more fruitful result in the next matchup.
  7. I have faith in McGoldrick as well. His experience will definitely make a difference in the game.
  8. I don’t read too much into friendlies; a draw will suit both teams, and now the real work begins.
  9. This is a welcomed piece of news. It's evident that Tipton has the potential for great things and our beloved Notts would offer the perfect nurturing grounds for his development. With his versatility, he'd provide fresh tactical options and dynamism to our set up. Let's back him up and witness him flourish.
  10. I'm really impressed by McGoldrick's mindset. His profound understanding of the game, the importance of fitness, and continuous learning is truly inspiring. Also, his willingness to mentor the younger players is commendable. Season's looking promising already.
  11. Yes, Tony Agana is a name that fans of the 90s will remember.
  12. Absolutely brilliant performance from Tobi Adebayo-Rowling. You can see how much he's been missed in the team. His enthusiasm on the field, combined with his technical prowess, creates such a palpable energy in the game. It's not just about the goals, but how he contributes to the overall dynamism and spirit of the team. Welcome back, Tobi!
  13. Ian’s contribution beyond the pitch to Notts County’s Football in the Community programme showcased his commitment to the sport and his community. What I find commendable is not just his footballing skills but his ability to use his position to make a social impact. His charity run is definitely a testament to that.
  14. Notts County is lucky to have a player like Matty Palmer in their ranks. He epitomises the spirit and determination of the club.
  15. It's brilliant to hear such stories of dedication and loyalty from fans like Paul and Evan Linley. Their passion for the game and their club is infectious; it's wonderful to see how football has a positive impact on families' bonding experiences.
  16. The club's tribute to Vinter and the outpouring of support from fans and former teammates shows the impact he had on Notts County.
  17. I’m not swayed by who he’s played under or with; I’m more interested in his own abilities and I’m mindful of when clubs dress up players of a young age. All the previous signings have spoken for themselves, so I’m a little sceptical of this signing for the reasons I mentioned.
  18. I think Kyle Cameron has a lot more to offer Notts and will continue to improve. I have times where I wished he would be more alert and make fewer mistakes like he did pulling Paul Mullin to the ground. If he can get that fine balance, he will be superb. I do like him and think offensively he’s very good.
  19. It’s hard not to agree, but at the same time it feels unbelievable just how quickly things have changed.
  20. Welcome back David. I’m eager to see how you will perform against L2 defenders. Well done to everyone who made this deal possible.
  21. This is great news for the club and for Sam. He’s been solid for us in goal and deserves a new deal. He’s also a nice guy and a leader in the team. Well done Sam!
  22. As a midfielder for Notts County, Matt Palmer has consistently demonstrated exceptional skill and ability. His remarkable talent for finding space on the pitch sets him apart from other players. At Wembley against Chesterfield, Palmer’s performance was outstanding and truly showcased his abilities. He consistently delivers what is required of a midfielder and his contributions to the team are invaluable.
  23. The club’s return to the Football League is a huge achievement and one that brings immense pride to the fans. The transformation of the club under the leadership of Christoffer Reedtz, Alexander Reedtz, and Jason Turner has been remarkable and bodes well for the future.
  24. Let’s keep our fingers crossed for Sunday! Notts fans have earned a trip to Wembley. After being disappointed in the playoffs and with COVID causing disruptions, a win and a final away day would be a fantastic lift for all involved. Boreham Wood will no doubt have the same hopes, but I believe our squad is strong enough to emerge victorious.
  25. It’s refreshing to see someone like Ryan Reynolds show such class and sportsmanship in wishing Notts County all the best. It’s a shame that not everyone can display this level of graciousness. Well to him for setting a positive example.
