Notts County Provides Comprehensive Injury Update on Players
Reading about Chicksen's Achilles recovery and now back to grass work is fantastic news. These injuries can be quite persistent and having him back is vital for our squad depth. Also, Lewis Macariβs return after a freak illness - shows the unpredictable nature of sport and the resilience of our team.

A Stuart Maynard Notts Team? A Tactical Analysis.
I'm hoping Stuart Maynard can bring some fresh ideas to the table and shake things up a bit. We've been stuck in a rut for a while now, and a new perspective could be just what we need.

Rugby Union: Nottingham RFC
Nottingham was thoroughly beaten by the Cornish Pirates. It was a missed chance for them.

Notts County Celebrates as James Sanderson Signs Professional Contract
I'm absolutely chuffed to bits with the news about James, a real homegrown talent committing his future to the club. Seeing him play is a reminder of why we support this beautiful game. The kid's got energy, skill, and that intangible spark that you just can't coach. In the game against Doncaster, he was everywhere, chasing balls, creating opportunities, and showing that he's not just at Meadow Lane to make up the numbers. And signing until 2026? That's the kind of long-term thinking and commitment from both the player and the club that can build a solid foundation for success. We might have a genuine star on our hands here!

Match Discussion: Game 29 - The Hatters (H)
Iβll start the chant of βItβs just like watching Juveβ as soon as we take control of the match. Letβs outshout Stockport Countyβs fans and cheer on the lads to show Stuart Maynard how good we can be when weβre in sync.

Kyle Cameron Leads Notts County with Unwavering Focus Amid Managerial Change
It's promising to hear our captain taking charge and emphasising routine in these windy times. Facing Stockport will be the litmus test of our resolve, but Cameron's comments showcase a squad that's set to tackle the challenge. Maynard's swift inclusion seems smooth as per the team's response, and it's this kind of internal stability that fans want to see reflected in the game.

Welcome @True Magpie, it's a good community and a very fun site.

Match discussion: Game 28 - The Mariners (A)
Our defence was weak, but a new manager could fix this. It was positive to stay in the match and nearly score. Grimsby has similar problems, but weβre better placed to improve. Iβm content with the draw, hoping weβll have a new manager for our next match.

Sven Goran-Eriksson, Cancer Diagnosis.
I hope Sven enjoys his remaining time, itβs sad heβs ill but he can now make the most of his days. Heβs had a good life.

New manager
I believe Stuart Maynard will be our next gaffer, not due to bookiesβ odds but his success with Wealdstone. His career aligns with what the brothers seek, someone stable and unsacked.

Merry Christmas everyone
A tad late to the party but wanted to spread some festive cheer nonetheless. Christmas may be over, but the goodwill needn't be. Cheers.

Match Discussion: Game 24 - Rovers (H)
Doncaster Rovers has shown some improvement since then. I canβt envision them being as disorganised, but on paper, you would think the game should favour us. The problem is, games arenβt played on paper, and not everything is as straightforward as it appears. I just hope we can secure the result we need to keep our position in the top half.

Iβm Not Fond of It, But I See the Reasoning
Did anyone catch if any players were interviewed on Radio Nottingham last night? I couldnβt listen in, but Iβm hoping they spoke to someone other than Luke Williams.

Notts County's Macaulay Langstaff Eager for Challenging Clash Against Stockport County
The anticipation for the match against the in-form Stockport County is certainly high. Langstaffβs optimism, while inspiring, is tinged with a hint of nervous excitement, which is to be expected given the stature of the opposition. His belief in the potential of this game to be a turning point for the teamβs form is intriguing. A victory here could indeed serve as a massive morale booster and could ignite a much-needed run of victories. As fans, weβre on tenterhooks, hoping for the best! Letβs rally behind our team. Come on, Notts County!

Luke Williams on Notts Countyβs Journey So Far: βWe Cannot Stand Stillβ
Indeed, it's about raising the standard of play rather than merely focusing on results. Wholeheartedly agree with Williams' take on this.

Lewis Macari on Adapting to Notts Countyβs Playing Style: A New Way of Playing
Macari is a young, determined player who's truly loving his game. His transfer to a permanent place in the team is no surprise. Heβs found a home at Notts, and the club has been accommodating. His mention of the gaffer's distinct style and bouncing back from his initial struggles speaks volumes about his resilience and ability to learn. As they say, where thereβs a will, there's a way!

Triplets separated at birth?
Paul Warne appears to be the toughest of the bunch, resembling a βPhil Mitchellβ character that wouldnβt be out of place in the TV show Shameless. He seems quite puzzled in the image. They all look very alike! Being bald doesnβt distinguish them.

Luke Williams : Notts v Walsall
Luke Williams might be slightly concerned that heβs not getting the desired response from the players. However, to put things into perspective, weβre still performing quite well for a club thatβs newly promoted back into the EFL. We just need to mix things up, improve, and work harder to ensure we get the results. We wonβt win every match, but thereβs no reason why we canβt improve our form and still be in contention for promotion at the end of the season.

Match Discussion: Game 22 - Sulphurites (A)
Two things seem unlikely: an easy victory and a clean sheet. Hopefully, Notts will deliver one of their better performances, but Iβm concerned about what might happen if Harrogate tightens their defence and makes it even more challenging, as they did in the playoff final against us. It could be a repeat of the Sutton United match on the opening day.
-
Where are they now? Graham Burke
He was a strong player for us when he was at his best, and he could have achieved much more. However, he always seemed like someone who aspired to play at a higher level. I thought he would excel in the Championship, but it appears that the Irish league suits him better.

Pontypridd..threat of 141 point deduction
What if we barred the individuals who broke the rules from football and imposed hefty fines on them as a more effective deterrent? The fines could be reinvested into grassroots football in Wales. As for a 141-point deduction, have the decision-makers lost their minds? A referee gets punched in Turkey and their league is suspended, yet a small club violates numerous rules and itβs their supporters who bear the brunt.

Turkish League Football Halted
Putting a complete stop to the league because of this seems a bit excessive. Imposing fines and deducting points should suffice, unless there are doubts about the fairness and legitimacy of the officiating. However, it appears to me that the president of MKE Ankaragucu is just a sore loser.
