  1. i honestly felt confident going into the games, yet i hope by time we scunthrope we actually have another cb. we are very open, we need a solid player at the back and players to get into positions where they can help when teams put us under pressure. losing to grimsby is a bit disappointing but we should not get carried a way!
  2. its a shame really, i agree he was never given a chance but its best for him he moves. at least this way he will play. good luck cranston!
  3. its brilliant to see this! i love the opposition views and i have missed it. very interesting read, they will give us a good test for sure.
  4. it must take a lot of care and dedication, i am keen follower of the osa and i am planning to join. it seems very worthy cause and i would like to think i help the academy in a small way. well done to all of the committee.
  5. hopefully its only the start of the success, any work that goes into signing the players must be demanding and after the previous seasons. i think its best that we changed our approach, i think if they all speak to the player and others the decision will be easier. looks to have worked okay to now.
  6. big signing, hopefully he can contribute and give us the confidence upfront to just push on now. i am unsure if he will score more than 10 but his hard work and assists will be clinical i suspect. very pleased with this! nice write up jamie, your effort is not going un noticed and notts-joe keeps speaking very highly of you.
  7. i also hope fans take note, we are the soul of notts county.
  8. promising sign especially with the inclusion of the "off the field" comment, now lets hope this deal helps the club move forward on the pitch.
  9. all it takes is for him to settle within the right squad and his potential could be met, it would be nice if for once we worked on making futures and helping players reach their ability. i would also welcome him to our ranks.
  10. i have to agree with all of the above, especially super. i think if our home form was decent this year, fans would automatically get on board the following season especially if we signed some players which carried some real signs of intent. all we need is a good home following and money spent wisely, hopefully moniz can turn the tide.

a very good story here, really sad about about what happened to anony. part of the glue of this website and although i did not know her, i do feel her loss. keep smiling joe! i know how much it upset you.

interesting show, i hope we do have a competitive budget which is used wisely. i do feel that under ricardo moniz it will be spent better than what we have previously seen. i like the flow of the show and im looking forward to the next addition.

i think people would accept the club could move slowly, i do feel we have been rushing for instant success and not focusing on improving each season. ray cannot keep pumping his own money into the club and the fans will only get tired of what we have to watch. that said he cares, hopefully we can adjust and learn quickly. good read.
  14. Why did you join prideofnottingham.co.uk? i had tried elsewhere when i was like 11 or so, i had my head bitten off and i just lurked in the background for years. i found pon by chance, i liked that it was starting up and i noticed the hard work that went into the site, so i knew my views would be welcome. by joining pon i have found myself attending far more games than i had done previously, its given me confidence and somewhere i look forward to visiting. i have no regrets about joining here and i just hope others realize that the community gets stronger when they arrive and post. What is your main highlight of being a member? winning the member of the month made me feel very proud, i just contribute because i enjoy it and to be praised for my posts, well it was special. esp when i was named it for the second time, it made me realise how much apart of the community i am. How much have you seen PoN grow during your time? heaps, joe works his socks off and for little credit. i really dont get that because i admire his determination and although he wont like me saying this, the only reason the site grows is because he pushes and works so hard. we just post, he invests his own money and time, so seeing it grow for that reason alone is amazing but it is also well deserved. when i joined there was few active posters but the site was friendly, theres more of us now and we are much bigger than people think. i have seen every side of the site grow and again joe should be credited for his loyalty and passion. hes actively promoting the club and i would not be here or attending as many games without pon. As a community, what would you say are the three core values to PoN and why? dedication, that is the key value but also passion and togetherness.

    just 8 more points! please.

its worry because there seems to be no stability now, everyone seems to panic and they need to step back and recess what's happening.
  18. very decent point, you cannot moan about that. if we had lost god help the reaction if a draw is not good enough.
  19. liampie commented on Chris's article in News
if only we would take some of the chances and early on! i just hope they keep their heads up and float above the water, very, very tough game and a draw would be all i hope for really. at least realistically happening!

i could not agree more with you joe, i read this yesterday but i have been busy with work. i think sacking derry would be a bad thing but i am starting to think he has gone more towards that area because he refuses to work on his tactics which are just odd at times. i think this does come with pressure. i will always back him though, i just hope he and the club appreciate our support.

im keeping zipped with regards to how we will do but if the teams around us also lose, it will be a good weekend no matter how we do.

i just hope for a positive match report, though lambley makes a point. it would be nice for once to actually see a ref limit himself with the amount of cards he shows. watch a fight break out now! fingers crossed none of our players get sent off.

i agree with julie, i have not seen better at meadow lane but we should be aware of the risk joe mentions. last time around he called he right, he said they would run at us and they did. lets go their to make a point.
  24. was hayhurst and newton recently injured then? shaun should pick the same squad as what featured against port vale imo.

it should not be tough to predict but it is, i just hope other results are kind to us.
