Nottingham Victoria insights
nottingham sometimes feels like certain parts could have been chosen better, but i think the current train station is fine because its near to things that makes sense. i cant imagine vic centre being anything different.

Financial shenanigans surrounding transfers of young players?
personally, i think if a club from league two wanted to sign a player from a premier league academy and they were able to do it where a fee would need to be agreed. like it is done the other way around, then the price should reflect them improving at the club. not what a premier league could may want. premier league teams do pick off a lot of good young talent, some of which filters down once they have used them. but you dont see many lower league teams getting good fees in return for the players they helped to become future stars, tribunals always favour the bigger clubs i feel.

Where are they now : Ed Francis
its a good step up and i think hes a good player, i hope he transitions well. he should get more time to play he way he likes in league one.

Former Atletico Madrid played jailed in Hull, for drug supply
i think 11 years is nothing, its quite a serious crime and part of the deterrent is the amount you could face in prison. in the middle east, they would only dream of 11 years for this sort of thing. its frustrating and sad.

Ticket pricing update
its in line with most clubs our size and have ambitions just like us. it makes it more value to renew and get the best price, do fans who pay the higher amount get a chance to make it cheaper next season? i dont understand completely how the early bird deal works at notts. its a bit confusing and my worry is that the loyalty scheme might just add further headaches. i went to every game last season home and away, so i think it will effect me. i do feel the family club feel might fall wayward with these prices as not many families who are not season ticket holders could justify so much money being spent on a football game when the cost of living is still high itself.

Tiernan to Gateshead?
well i think with sam slocombes repeated injuries and the fact aidan stone falls to pieces when he concedes, it looked promising for tiernan brooks to be given a shout in the cup matches and in rotation in the league if needed.
-
Tiernan to Gateshead?
yeah, i am seeing that too. it does not seem to be official yet, maybe somewhere else has said it has happeed?

Tiernan to Gateshead?
someone on facebook has suggested he has already gone but i cant see anything confirming it. i think it would be a disappointment but it makes sense to allow tiernan brooks go and get the experience he needs to play first team football. we have signed alex bass, he seems to be looking likely to be our future keeper for some time. only issue i have, is we dont really know how good brooks could be. allowing him to go out on loan is one thing but if he ends up being sold this season, i would be disappointed we did not test him more last year.

Notts match live on Sky
its nice to get an early tv game announced, as it should give us a nice payday. i think it should also help those fans who cant make the 8pm kick off. not that i dont wish for fans to be at meadow lane but its a late game. it just means fewer fans will miss it.

Turkey's goalkeeper, a Gordon Banks moment
great save by the turkish keeper, pure adrenaline and ability to make a save like that. its almost panther like movement. i am aware of the gordon banks save, both are excellent saves.

Where are they now : Connell Rawlinson
it sounds like a great fit for him, i do wish him all the best and hope that chester can have a good season. connell rawlinson should be a key player for them.
-
Vitesse Arnhem saved
it would be awful to have only 25 minutes but notts fans and other clubs who have been in dire straits will know the pain. i am glad they survived.

Tony Hateley
worth the read if anyone has not already.

Season Tickets Sold
yes, our club is going in the right direction. i think some fans believe we should be able to instantly do things but the marketing of the club and media team is impressive. we have so many aspects as fans to be happy with. seeing better season ticket sales will make match days feel more exciting as you know the support will be there.

Tommy Lawton: The England star who begged for money
its sad what happened in his later years, such a difficult time to live as well. i doubt professional players care or think about stars who earned little its part of why you cant relate to some of them regardless of their talent. whereas you can with players like tommy lawton.

Historic Nottingham
@Piethagoram where the tram now goes over near the train station?
-
Season Tickets Sold
its a good amount sold, no doubt the fact that notts have a better squad and can perform well enough when things click makes it exciting. it makes a change to know that fans are complaining about the numbers or saying they wont be renewing for whatever reason. good times should be ahead for us.

Throwing beer about at The Nest
hey, its win win for the club because it means more people paying for their beer supply. that is extra ££££. i am surprised that they dont make the most of reshowing clips, just as the final orders are coming in. ????

Interesting pieces of history : Sylvia Pankhurst and the Suffragette movement
i went to look for the other parts but could not find anything further on this. it might been wiser to comment them all in a row. i would have liked to understand it more. i will add he seems to have an interesting account.
-
Where are they now : Tom Crawford
personally i think he would have been a good team member, can play in the middle of midfield and further up as an attacking playmaker. good to see him finding a new club after leaving hartlepool.
-
Welcome Bertinez
welcome to pon @Bertinez. we are a friendly site.

Where are they now : Sam Stubbs
good to see him returning back to football, i had forgotten about his injury. its a brave experience to go through, scary too. i hope he manages to pick up his career without worrying about it.

Bellingham Could be Fined and Banned.
as @super_ram says its a storm inside a tea cup. accept the apology and move on. he has no reason to try to upset slovakia bench. i think more people will be offended from seeing it from the photos and videos than actually having witnessed it.
