Tomorrow against Wigan, some of the players who don’t usually start will have a good chance to show what they can do. If they play well, they might earn a spot in the starting eleven.

Notts needs to improve fitness levels, especially for key players like Barry Cotter.

Replied

I agree, but I do think Martin Paterson will play some of the players who need match fitness. I hope whoever gets a start proves that they have earned it.

Tomorrow promises an exciting return to Meadow Lane, where I can fully immerse myself in the vibrant atmosphere of the KOP. While I plan to capture some photos, my primary focus will be on the exterior of the stadium, the stands, and the less crowded areas. 👍🏻📸

just dont push yourself to much and listen to your body, i am sure you will do a great job mate.

Replied

I did somewhat overdo it, but I think the heat was the biggest factor, as I slept most of the time when I returned. Not because I wanted to sleep, but because my body forced me to shut down. I did manage to snap quite a few pictures, which I enjoyed.

I am sure we have, but it's been a while since I recall seeing 80 members online. It's encouraging to see, and the effort the community is putting in is brilliant to see. Targets and goals are a bit of fun, but I would love to see us try to reach 100. 🖤🤍

we as a community have worked hard for the progress, but you have worked much harder and have showed a lot of dedication to notts mate.

i am glad numbers are lifting, its good to see.

Replied

Let’s keep building on it, that’s got to be the aim. There will be quiet days, and the gaffer might be tied up, but as a community, there are still things we can do to keep the site moving.

It’s brilliant to see 80 members online! I think that’s the most I’ve ever seen.

Replied

Just amazing and brilliant to see, no better content out there in terms of fan written or Notts related discussions. I am delighted with the progress PON is making.

Feeling happy after Notts's encouraging performance on Saturday..

Replied

Among all the unhappy comments I heard leaving the Rodney Parade Stadium, I felt happy and encouraged by the performance. The first half was a real joy to watch, something I think Martin Paterson should be able to get out more as the squad's fitness level increases.

It’s matchday, safe journey to all you travelling pies, bring back 3 points. waving

Being a passenger, it's easy for me to say this, but it was a very routine trip. We did see an electric car ablaze on the way. Yet, we experienced no issues, and I hope it was the same for all the Notts community that attended.

😊 I got tickets for the Newport match. It was good that the general sale didn’t sell out, so I was able to grab some. I think the first day of the season will be brilliant. Can’t wait to be there and cheer the team on!

Replied

I will be there too. I wasn't sure I would be, but my friend and his partner are now able to make it.

Ash, away days can be incredibly enjoyable! Safe travels to you, and I hope that you enjoy the day. It will be great to see our travelling supporters leave Newport happy. 🤞🏻

Replied

Wow! The Red Arrows literally just flew over our house on the way to EMA for their 60th Birthday.

Replied

They're putting on quite the show just for you! Have you had any thunder and lightning where you are? It’s been really loud over here, plenty of rumbles and flashes.

Replied

You're either really jammy or just plain lucky, Tone. Not sure which it is, but its one or the other.

Heading back to reality after a lovely mini break in Derbyshire.

Replied

Hope you and your wife enjoyed yourselves, Tony. It'll be nice to see you on the site a bit more, at least until you head off again. Got anything lined up?

Feeling good. A win for Notts today against a side that had the better of Notts twice last season.

Replied

The win over Port Vale was only a friendly, so I wouldn’t read too much into it. Still, it’s a positive sign. For those who think we’re a long way off other League Two sides, it might help them see we’re able to hold our own. I’m confident we’ll do just fine once the players settle and get going.
