They did work hard and they did play some decent football at times....but other than that he's deluded. There's no way they outplayed us and NOBODY has outbattled us this season.  I suppose he thinks they outplayed Oxford CIty too ? 

They played okay, they didn't outclass us at all. Second half we made them look silly, it's just a shame that we didn't stick to attacking and instead made a few iffy errors at the back.

Yet we was the better team.

Would the 'out-battling' he speaks of, be Mandron punching Ameobi full-on in the face as he lay on the ground (that the Ref 'didn't see'); which caused Shola to retaliate (that the Ref DID see) and then book him? Mandron was (eventually) booked but should have been sent off!

I'm sorry I didn't report what I saw to police - as an assault - and have him nicked!

Maybe that's the way we need to go with these 'dirty' sides; working on the theory that what ref's don't/refuse to see, spectators won't stand for?!*

Maybe the reason they have been defending so well is because they haven't played anybody at the same level that we currently are?

What a pity for us. We got the points and are sitting in an automatic promotion spot, but what really counts is that Colchester apparently outbattled us. Luckily for us, if we finish in our current position we'll win promotion to League One, where we need not worry about being outbattled and outplayed by giants of the modern game like Colchester United ever again.

Oh. If we'd won 100 points last season we wouldn't have been playing them in the first place.
