Game 21 - The Linnets (A)

Team: Kings Lynn Town

Date: 26/12/2021

Where: The Walks

What line-up should Ian Burchnall opt for? What will be the key areas for the Magpies to get a victory? What do you think the final score will be?

Kings Lynn are a poor side. 2nd last is about as good as it will get for them. Anything other than a win would be very disappointing.

Game off! Waterlogged pitch.

Apparently they don’t have a groundsman. It’s bizarre at this level to not even have someone on a part time basis… Really poor as it sounds like it should’ve/could’ve been called off earlier to save the travelling fans from a wasted journey.

Really frustrating as we haven’t got COVID in the camp yet the disruption to the season continues for us.

Tempting as it is to criticise the "interesting" way King's Lynn seem to go about their business, why on earth was a pitch inspection scheduled for an hour before kick-off? It makes no sense and is really ignorant of the fans.

Looking at the weather forecast, it gets drier as the day goes on. The pitch will be heavy regardless. It might be a bit of a leveller but Notts should have enough to win this. KL are a poor side.

Let that be the last time Cal Roberts ever plays LWB!

When we went in 1-0 down at half-time I did fear the worst and wondered are we really this bad without Cameron. But credit to the team and IB for changing it, we got the result we wanted.

If you learn something from every game, there shall come a point in time, when you should never lose... Jimmy Sirrel
