Been watching this game and several of the other play off games..... Is it my imagination???? Because I've seen more head tennis in these games than I've seen at Meadow Lane all season.... Anyone else noticed this???

Yeah, I've watched a few. Haven't seen tonight's game as I've opted for Rangers v Frankfurt but I can imagine it's not great.

I've been impressed with the quality and pace of the Championship games. But yeah L1 and L2 its more hit and miss, I mean Wycombe are incredibly direct and they've got no interest in short passing. But the commentators in the Sheffield Wed v Sunderland game banged on about Darren Moore and his 'passing style', they passed it out from the back like twice in 45 mins! It was just a game of attrition, I think the commentators were just trying to con the viewers! I didn't watch the second half of that one...

The playoffs take on a life of their own in L1 & L2. Most teams are more concerned about not losing than actually trying to go and win games. They get the ball forward as quickly as possible and hope to force a mistake. It's not great to watch. I think Sunderland will try to play their way through Wycombe. Wycombe are more than likely to go direct, but they could do the opposite to catch Sunderland out. Mansfield are resilient. They are very hard to beat. I wouldn't like to play them at Wembley. They will grind Port Vale or Swindon down. I think Mansfield will go up.

So that's both Florist and Mansfield in play-off finals. We need to make it a hat trick. I've got a gut feeling they'll both go up, but that isn't really based on anything. Just making the final is a fantastic achievement for Mansfield after looking like they were going to flirt with the NL early in the season.

How are we feeling about this? Is anyone crossing their fingers for the Stags, or are we hoping they'll fall flat on their faces?

I wouldn't really mind it myself, but in the event that we go up, League Two would be a little less beige with them in it. Even if every village idiot in Nottinghamshire does tag along for their big day out to Meadow Lane. It'd also be pretty sobering to see them two leagues above us (in the worst-case scenario), but it's up to us to get our house in order.

On the other hand, if they do go up we might see a repeat of their legendary bus parade of 2013...
