Ultra processed food... can I live without ice cream?

An interesting article, why is it that all the food you love turns out to be bad for you? We try to cook as many meals as we can with fresh produce but of course we are retired so we have the time, whereas busy working families will tend to eat more convenience foods that are full of UPF’s.

This won't change much for me, I am mindful of what I eat, but I won't suddenly start worrying that a bit of ice cream is going to cause me issues. We've been having milk for decades now, something which we shouldn't have been encouraged to drink or have with our cereal.

People once said it was good for you, now it's known to be something we should be reducing.

In 20–30 years, everything we eat will be bad for us that isn't natural, but I doubt we will go back to eating the basic things our bodies were designed to eat solely. Besides, we only live once and people should just be mindful of what they put into their bodies.
