There were a lot of things that  teachers and so called responsible adults got away with when I was young.I'm glad this wasn't one of them.It looks like a primitive  attempt to put youngsters off taking up sport.

Supposedly this is footage of how footballers used to train.

It reminds me of a group of children who are scared to get their clothes dirty in PE, just in case their mothers are mad about the mess they made. 😂

@Fan of Big Tone at least you can see the logic in the training, those days things would have been very difficult and this training quite ground-breaking. its quite primitive by todays standard but must have helped back then. :D

It’s funny how this would have been considered state-of-the-art training and something that improved players. Seeing people falling over as they jump through it seems less military-drilled and more relaxed, but still not casual enough to take a stroll. Unlike the video @Chris shared.
