    It’s a splendid victory for Girona. Given the numerous problems Barcelona are facing, it’s no wonder that proficient teams are finding it more enjoyable to compete against them.

    Oh oh oh ohhhhh, everywhere where we go, watching super County putting on a show!

    bigger than leicester city? from near relegation to league champions?? in the worlds best league. no way would girona be better. the spanish league is not the same standard as it used to be. it would be a great story if they did win, but comparing it to other clubs success seems silly to me.

    This is the thing about media and fans, always comparing to people, players and success. Sometimes there's merit but this for me is a great story, but it's not as amazing as Leicester City's transformation and title winning season.

    Girona are building their own story and deserve merit for lifting themselves into this position.

    TheLa Liga isn't that challenging right now; it's fallen in stature due to many issues from clubs debt, player issues etc. This shouldn't take away from what Girona are achieving though. I hope they go on to win it!
