@liampie In the 100 ball game called "the hundred" the "Trent Rockets" (mens and womens), are the home team that plays at Trent bridge. In this format,, each side get 100 balls per innings rather than the 20/20 format that has 20 overs per innings (120 balls) where Nottingham Outlaws are the home team.

@liampie I pay little attention to cricket, so all this tends to fly over my head. @super_ram likes his cricket, as does my brother @william1984.

Good luck to them.

PS. I love the chrisps Skips, but this isn't very nice. 🤢

India are well in command of the 2st test after the conclusion of the 2nd day.

India end the day on 421/7 in their first innings in reply to England's 246 all out.

England will have to bat much better if they are to have any chance of saving this test.

England are currently nowhere near good enough to compete with India, especially in India. Batting is too erratic and the bowling too much of a muchness.
You need to be either a really good spinner or express quick and our bowlers (except sicknote Wood) are neither of those.

End of the third day if the 1st test match, India v England with England on 316 for 6, a lead of 126.

Nottinghamshire's Ben Duckett scored 47 with Ollie Pope 148 not out.

It should be a fascinating morning's cricket tomorrow with England desperate to stretch that lead so they have something to bowl at.

@super_ramIt's great to wake up to some great news.

Ollie Pope scored one of the great innings, 196 on a turning wicket, but I still thought that the lead wasn't quite enough, but Tom Hartley's seven wickets proved me wrong.

The team spirit in this England team under Ben Stokes is what gives England an extra edge in close matches.

Incidentally, West Indies have beaten Australia in Australia today too. A remarkable day in Test Cricket.

Just goes to show that despite the fact I played senior cricket to a decent level for over 25 years, I know nowt!!! 😂

Great win to be fair, thanks to two men. Still think we would have lost if Kohli had played though.
