Well, we've done ok so far. Still, that all-elusive striker is needed. We've sort of patched up our defence and midfield, but we need someone who can get at least 10 goals and maybe have a hand in 5 assists.

In absence of any more Notts news, we could discuss the day's main signings.

So Dimitar Berbatov's gone for a nice little six-month sojourn in the south of France (geographically anyway), hooking up with AS Monaco.

 

Pablo Dani Osvaldo's left Southampton for Juventus (lucky him, aside from joining a club which frankly doesn't befit his skills as a footballer AND leaving on bad terms, he's done pretty well for himself).

And the other big one is Fulham's signing of Kostas Mitroglou (he'll leave in the summer when the club ends up in the Championship).

What are your thoughts on today's happenings?

I hear Chelsea spent a lot of money on a defender, Spurs was mentioned but didn't catch it.

Think it's been slow this window.
