I Have just Received a Email from Notts County regarding the England vs Slovenia Match which is being shown at the Nest.

But as the Notts Fan Zone made a Faux Pas? The First line reads AGENTINIAN BBQ.

OOOPS  after last nights Scotland vs Hungry  Match when the Scots were Denied a Penalty, by an Argentinian Referee.

That perhaps Not The Best Line To Start With. Would You Say?

The Magpies may Not have many Scottish Followers, But there might be a Few and a Few England Fans may also take Exception,

Regarding the History between the Two Nations.

I would have thought it would have been good to go full English & promote good old English Fish and Chips with mushy peas.

@Robbie

You would Think So Wouldn't You? But it seems that being English is Now A Major Problem These Days.

So I will say this (with tongue in cheek) Maybe that's Why England are performing so Badly at the Euro's?

It would be Totally Non P.C. To allow the 3 Lions to Win the Tournament. Heaven Forbid.

I think the problem with the England players is attitude.

And I suppose it's not political correct to say that either.

I really don’t think anyone going to the Nest (Scottish or otherwise) will be offended about an Argentina BBQ. :huh2:

Oh sorry @Wheelbarrow repair man I thought you were serious. A smiley face would have helped me realise you were joking.

I wonder how an Argentinian bbq differs from a normal one? 🤔

@Wheelbarrow repair man

I saw the funny side of it.

But it would have been a nice touch to either push an all English breakfast or plain old fish and chips for the England game. Just saying.

its good the club are trying different things but i hope they still offer things which are to the fussy people like myself. all this fancy food at football sort of annoys me more than seeing hipster notts fans.

@Fan of Big Tone

I've No Idea how to place an emoji on my comments. It took me all my time to get my head around the @ whoever's name I put after it. I'm really Not into Technology. In fact I don't see a Problem with a Pen & Paper. But that's another story.

These days, folks will consume anything on matchdays, but I favour a pie and chips. Keep it straightforward.

You Know you're right @Robbie. There's Nowt Wrong with Fish Chips and Mushy Peas. Mind you what about a Pot of Mushy Peas and Mint sauce? It's been years since I've had that and how about a Plate of Bread and Dripping?  Proper Grub none of this Foreign Muck, Good Stuff  That'll Put Hairs On Your Chest and make Your Teeth Curl. I can hear my Arteries Hardening at the very thought.

When you post look out for a smiley face above the post, click on it and you’ll see an assortment of emojis you can scroll through to find a suitable one.

Thanks for that @Fan of Big Tone. Apparently an Argentinian B.B.Q is the the type of Grill the Meat is cooked on.

I would think that the B.B.Q  will be outside, otherwise wouldn't the Smoke set off the Sprinkler System in the Nest?
