It's time to change my username, but I'm not sure what to choose. Should I keep or drop the "Deadly" part? Here are some ideas: Deadly Jatta, Deadly Scott, Deadly Jones, Deadly Crowley, DeadlyNotts, DeadlyNCFC. I'm unsure. Any thoughts?

Choose someone who is unlikely to leave next season. I would skip Jodi Jones because we'll need to renew his contract. Cedwyn Scott could be a good choice. DeadlyNCFC has a nice ring to it.

clinicalcounty :D

deadlyncfc is fine too, it might make a change to avoid a players name.

How about a former player? Your old choice, DeadlyDennis, still works. He was a good striker for us. He just needed more time on the field, as his finishing ability was never in doubt.

What about Fan of Deadly Macca?

He'll always be Deadly Macca no matter where he goes. That name would act as a lasting tribute to a great Notts striker.

DeadlyDidzy? Though if you do use are current player you’ll be changing again in a few seasons. I think keeping it as Macca is ok too, it’s very soon but he’ll be looked back on as one of the great strikers for Notts. You could go done the more legendry strikers route, anyone on here remember Lawton and Sewell? Them were the days back when it only cost 2 bob to watch the county, there were no stand and when it rained you got soaked through but that didn’t matter cos you could get a proper brew at half-time to warm you up (is that convincing?)

I don’t see why you have to change Macca will always be a name remembered by Notts fans for many years to come. Look at my username Fan of Big Tone, Tony Hateley was my hero he’s sadly deceased now and stopped playing for Notts many years ago but to me he is a legend, so if Macca was your hero then stay as you are, or like someone else said change it to Fan of Macca.

@DeadlyMacca: I remember when you joined as DeadlyDennis, and if you wish to change albeit, but I am with @Fan of Big Tone. You don't have to make any changes, as Macca still works. I mean, you could take up @Robbie's suggestion, and join the trendy way Tony declares his appreciation to a former Notts great - with the Fan of.

I'm sure whatever you decide it will be great.

Simply change your profile pic to McGoldrick or Rod McDonald and you're done 😉

Please don't do what @KingMaynard does, otherwise you'll be having a new user name every season 😂

Sounds too much like an obituary. He’s not dead :rollonfloorlaughing:

The two of you could form an amusing comedy pair. However, I agree, it does resemble an obituary. I don’t believe it’s particularly effective in this context.

Are you sure that’s long enough @super_ram? Or would you like to suggest DeadlyMaccasgoalsrememberedbuthesnothereanymoresadly 😜

I’m not obliged to alter it, but I’d rather switch to something different. I might not opt for a former player either. I enjoy supporting a current player with the name, but they sometimes move on a bit too swiftly. Not that I didn’t anticipate Macaulay Langstaff departing sooner rather than later.

He’s certainly braver than I am. I wouldn’t want to change that often. KingVanaramaPie was a solid choice, just the wrong league now. Opting for the managers has doomed him to repeat it.

I wouldn’t want Macca to think that I’m targeting him or wishing him ill, so that won’t be an option. 😆

I have no regrets about choosing the gaffer after we secured promotion. It seemed appropriate to give KingWilliams a try, but then he departed. Long live KingMaynard!

My suggestion would be to revert to DeadlyDennis, mate.

@DeadlyMacca

If you insist in changing your Monika, then there's Really only one Name you need to Use. DeadlyBradd,  Sir Les is after all the all time Leading Goal Scorer for Notts County. I Need To Say No More.
