A Big Complaint From the England camp during the Euro's was they were Tired. Here may be a Reason Why. Air Miles flown by Premier League Clubs, this Preseason.

Man Utd Chelsea and Spurs each over 12,000 miles. Brighton Newcastle Arsenal and Aston Villa each over 11,000 miles. Bournemouth Wolves 10,000 miles.

West Ham Man City 9,000 miles Palace and Liverpool 8,000 miles, Forest 5,000 miles Fulham 3,000 miles Ipswich 2,000 miles, Brentford Southampton and Leicester each over 1,000miles and Finally Everton 511 miles.

Reasons given for such Long Hauls creating a Bigger Fans Base and of course MONEY. A Vast Majority of Players don't like these trips because it means them being Away from their Families for Long Periods. But I'm sure a Big Fat Pay Cheque will more than Compensate their Absence From Their Loved Ones.

It's never going to change mate. Football in this Country at the top level is no longer a sport, it's a money making machine, & as for watching your club in the Premier League, the ordinary fan will be squeezed out of watching their favourites in the flesh, as the cost of attending a match will price them out completely.

PL matches will be played more and more in foreign Cities like New York, Washington & Sydney to gain even more revenue. Season tickets will go and fans will have to pay extortionate prices on a match by match basis.

The TV Companies will offer season long passes to watch your PL favourites by paying for a subscription. Those teams will take a share of revenue from the TV Companies.

The European Super league will one day become a reality, with the big six leaving the PL & going their own way, to earn the Megabucks.

The EFL & non league clubs, will become the go to for the less well off fan.

Well, there are things they can do to relax and take the strain off. I am sure many other countries had players who have had a competitive amount of football. The international games used to signify a break, but I also think this is where a strong squad comes in because you can rest some by starting others.

@Robbie is right, it won't change though.

Plus there will always be a level of excuses, which some might have some form of truth, but it's an easy thing to say in defence. If I were able to still play, I'd love to play so often.

Bang On @Robbie Bang On Sir. I think this is Even More Reason for the Rest of Football to Break Away from the Premier League and Just Let It Go It's Own Way.

The Championship Leagues 1 and 2 plus the National League all come together and Form It's Own Governing body, with Proper Transfer and Payment Structure in Place, with Caps on Both. Fans having a Bigger Say.

Just a thought.

Do you think that we saw the first £10K+ a week footballer in League 2 last season?

I think you could easily have picked a player from Wrexham or Stockport that fitted that statistics.

I've seen some rumours on social media estimating around £5 to 6K for Macca, but could be more or less. Even so it's still a lot for League 2.
