The EFL Central League gets under way today with the Notts B team playing Bolton Wanderers B team.

Just to put the result into perspective, five senior players were playing for Bolton in this match, so the final result is a bit skewed to say the least.

Doesn't it show the gulf between our B team and that of Bolton? If we are to improve and make sure youngsters have a pathway into the first team, we need a proper reserve team. Playing competitive games in a league structure is far more beneficial than friendly games.
