Football Radar man joins Cheltenham Town as analyst

The job isn’t much different, but I don’t think it means he will be successful. I think the Reedtz brothers did well bringing over some of their staff from Football Radar, but not all are of the same ability. Good luck to him.

It doesn't really mean he will be able to put into use anything practical in his new role, but it is interesting. I think it's a good opportunity for him. There's a huge wave of people giving insights into football, some are good, some aren't. Even on X.com (Twitter) some of these people just talk a good game and don't really know anything. This isn't a shot at anyone directly, it's just something I notice.

Especially, when you see someone delete posts because it makes them look clueless.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with giving your opinion and being incorrect; just don't pretend to be in the know. Those who do know a thing or two, will always stand out and go further. So, good luck to this former Football Radar employee.

I can’t imagine working in football, especially for the club you support. Whilst it could be the dream job, I think there are aspects that could make you end up disliking football. It’s not an easy thing to do for work, but good luck to him.

It's a nice story, which I hope works out for him because it could be a dream job.

I was torn between working in football or general journalism, before I had my heart set on attending Leeds University. I thought that it could be fun working in football, I decided against it because I wanted to still be able to watch Notts. So, the lure of working within football is understandable.

Football Radar will hire people from within football and from outside. They will both make the transition back and forth. But it's good to see a young man get his dream job at the club he supports.
