August 25, 2024Aug 25 #2 Couldn't the Home side have lent their away kit to the away side? Seems a very strange carry on
August 25, 2024Aug 25 #3 So, we have teams allowing their shirts to clash, and another forgetting to bring them in the first place. What is going on with English football? Can you imagine turning up to a game with injuries, claiming you had no kit, and the officials saying, "Well, let’s postpone it, lads," and then everyone heads off to the nearest pub? What a joke. The 3 points should go to the team ready to play, or they should ask to borrow the other team's away shirt.
August 26, 2024Aug 26 #4 This is just silly. How can you go to a game without your kit? It's embarrassing at Sunday league level.
August 26, 2024Aug 26 #5 ???????????????????????? You couldn't make this up! It's very funny. I hope someone got scolded for forgetting the kit. Surely someone has a checklist to make sure they take everything they need. It's not like forgetting to take your own footballs to training.
August 26, 2024Aug 26 #6 It's very embarrassing. I hope none of their fans came. I think it's ridiculous.
August 26, 2024Aug 26 #7 What would be even more foolish, was if they left them out somewhere in public having planned to load them (a bag assuming) into a car etc. I can actually imagine it's more common, especially before the rise of social media.
August 26, 2024Aug 26 #8 the standard and expectations further down the leagues are not very good, forgetting your kit should result in points docked. its that tin pot. ????
