Good morning another week dawns, it a grey cloudy start here and looks decide.y like it will rain at any time.

Today is @George Lā€™s 16th birthday so tonight we will be joining the family for a meal in the local Indian restaurant, really looking forward to that, it seems ages since we all had a meal out together.

Have a great day whatever you are doing.

Good morning everyone. Overcast here, no wind but not to chilly.Ā

Was expecting thunder storms last night but only a smidgen of rain.

Will continue to keep up to date with the Paralympics. It's proving to be quite successful for Team GB.

No other work planned today, but that could change

Well it's been a bit of a Lazy day.Ā

A bit dreary outside. Seems that we are now in meteorological Autumn for sure.Ā

Again, not much rain as was forecast but much better off inside on a day like this.

Let's see what Tuesday brings us.

I haven't been well, yesterday I felt terrible, and today I only feel a little better. I slept most yesterday, but today I am determined to be more productive. :(Ā

@ChrisĀ Sorry to read you haven't been feeling well. Hope you get to feel much better asap.

When I feel unwell, & now that I'm much older it seems to be more frequent, I just rest & leave things to another day.Ā

Good afternoon,

Another overcast sky today, no wind & average temperature for the time of year .

We had rain overnight which looks like it was a reasonable amount. Pleased with that, the garden needed it.

Went shopping this morning, to stretch my legs a bit.Tesco quite busy for a Tuesday. Some of the stock was missing what I wanted.

We are still buying the jacket potatoes instead of the cheaper ones. The quality of the cheaper potatoes are still not A1 in my opinion.Ā Plenty of vegetable stock to choose from.

Nothing else planned for the day yet.

Good morning all and happy Wednesday.

@ChrisĀ I hope you are feeling better soon, Iā€™ve been a bit under the weather too my arm is still painful and I think itā€™s getting me down a bit.

@RobbieĀ I love jacket potatoes, in fact we are having them tonight, my favourite filling is tuna and sweetcorn with mayo.

@liampieĀ I hope you enjoyed your fish and chips you are allowed to treat yourself occasionally.

@BlakeĀ I hope you settled in ok back at school and donā€™t get too much homework.

I hope everyone else is ok and you all enjoy your day. Iā€™m off now to do the word games to see if I can beat @super_ramĀ and @Piethagoramā€™s scores.

Good Morning everyone.

Another overcast, calm & mildish start to the day.

Had a late night last night, so had a bit of a lay in this morning.

Planning to do some paperwork shredding, also going to pack two of our free standing fans away.Ā

We already have ceiling a fan in our living room & bedroom.

Wife is doing some cleaning up & washing.

Good luck at School today @BlakeĀ & all those who are starting a fresh year.

@Fan of Big Tone we have jacket potatoes quite a lot, instead of mashed. It's a good way of controlling how much you eat too.

Good morning, itā€™s Friday and the start of the weekend, I didnā€™t have a very good night with one thing and another but at least I woke up which is always a bonus.Ā

Being Friday itā€™ll be curry night tonight and Mrs. T will no doubt rustle up a feast for our tea and Iā€™ll allow myself a glass of beer too.

The weather is supposed to be warmer today so thatā€™ll be nice, we were tempted to put the heating on last night but we resisted.

Overcast here with rain in the air, & a bit of wind too. Whether forecast said sunny with high temperatures.Ā

Hopefully, the clouds will burn off & we will see some forecast Sun today, here's hoping.

Some good sport to look forward to today. The Paralympics continue in Paris with Team GB doing well with dozens of medals.

We have the US Open Tennis continuing with a Brit in the men's semi final, we have two young ladies, & a young man in the semi finals of the junior event, & a young lady in the doubles junior semi final.Ā

In between I'll continue doing some paper shredding.Ā

After a grey start it turned into a lovely day here although a bit breezy Iā€™ve spent the afternoon topping up my tan ready for my holiday in two weeks. šŸš¢Ā

The cloud broke up a little this afternoon and we've had some sun, Wife took a chance & did some washing, which dried this afternoon.

Got some paper shredding done. I took some advice via Google & put a sprinkle of cooking oil on the metal shredders & it did help.

We have three big spiders in the garden which insist on building their webs across my garden path, so I have to make a small detour so that I don't spoil their hard work.

The other day, we both sat in the garden & couldn't help but notice one building his web over a few hours. It's wonderful how they construct their web.

It was a little windy that day & the web was moving about in the wind, so the spider strengthened the anchoring to prevent it moving so much. Fascinating stuff.

Iā€™d have liked watching the spider too @RobbieĀ but Mrs T. Would be petrified she has a real fear of spiders.

Good morning, I woke up too late to go to the Park Run but itā€™s matchday, Iā€™ll be there with grandaughter Chloe, Iā€™m hoping for an entertaining match and obviously a Notts win.

Iā€™ll set the England match to record then watch it when I get home.

I hope everyone has a great day.

A great ending to a dreary day with a win for Notts.

Morning all itā€™s nice weather for ducks.Ā :joker:

I woke up this morning trying to remember why I felt happy then I remembered we won again yesterday, isnā€™t it a nice feeling?

Today as itā€™s wet we are going to get in the loft and try to sort some stuff out to either send to the charity shop or the tip, I wonā€™t be doing any heavy lifting though as my arm is too painful.

At least with us having bungalow with a bedroom in the loft the storage part is easy to get to, itā€™s just a door from the bedroom, so we donā€™t have to pull down a ladder or anything which is a bonus as we get older.
