Think Stuart shd stick with a winning team. As for the score well you know me, I hope Notts will take the 3 points. COYP.

Some Gillingham fans (not all) have this game won already by them, which is something I wish our fans avoid doing. It's one thing to predict the score, but it's extreme when you act like you are going to win the league and write off the team you are playing. That reflects a significant lack of understanding or may even verge on delusional thinking.

I think they will be a good test for us, but I am confident about our home form and the ability we have within the team.

This doesn't mean I would underestimate Gillingham at the slightest, because I know games like this can lift teams. Neither of us can underestimate any team, I mean I felt the game would be hard against Bromley, and whilst I didn't foresee them taking the lead - I don't think anyone would have done so early. Gillingham's fans would be foolish to believe we are in a false position, because it would show that they haven't seen any of our highlights.

I would happily accept a draw, but I do think we have the quality to win the game.

My prediction would be 2-1, I think we'll lead, and then they'll equalise perhaps before the end of the first half. For us to score around the 65th-70th minute and then the rest of the game will be a bit nervous at times.

To me, our season starts here. This will be the yardstick as to how far we have come this season and will match the divisions highest scorers against the stingiest (I think?) defence.

Will be interesting, but I wouldn’t change too much. Probably Tsaroulla back with JJ on the right. Palmer & Abbott in midfield  with Crowley & Didzy behind the Jattattack.

Can see this going 2-1 either way.

i think if we can win and play well, it will lean into the belief that we could remain near the top throughout the season. its a long way for all of us, but our form has been very good and its for gillingham to prove themselves to go top or to beat us. pressure might be on us to maintain our position, but in front of meadow lane i think we would always have a good chance of doing that.

i hope its a good game and gillingham fans come in numbers.

The game with Gillingham is going to be our toughest yet this season. This match will tell us much about Notts's promotion credentials.

I would play our strongest available 11 to start the match, that would be Bass, Macari, Bedeau, Platt, Tsaroulla, Palmer, Abbott, Crowley, Jones, McGoldrick & Jatta,

Tsaroulla would be the left wing back & Jones right wing McGoldrick supporting Jatta up front. Those selections are subject to all being fit .

The key areas for Notts will be as always, in defence. Notts have to try to stop the unnecessary mistakes at the back because Gillingham will b looking for them with their high press.

If Notts can stay firm at the back, I will back our attacking prowess, to find a way through during the match.

I'm going for a low scoring game. A 1:0 to Notts would be great, but I wouldn't be disappointed with a draw.

Gillingham have had 3 red cards already this season. They're not a dirty team so that is a bit surprising. Anyway they are a decent side, tipped by many to win the league. They lost at Doncaster, another favourite for promotion, and I think Notts will beat them as well.

The game against Gillingham should be entertaining. I hope we start with real determination to stick the ball into the back of their net early on. Then we can pass the ball around, making them work to get hold of it. Just before the end of the first half, if a second goal can be scored, I think it would be good night. This is the ideal scenario in my head. The worst is that they repeat what Fleetwood Town did, and we have to go into the second half more determined. I think they will be tough, but supposedly they have quite a few injuries to their first team, so who knows if they will turn up.

Gillingham aren’t as good as they think. They have done well so far and deserve credit for that, but comparing our sides, we are very blessed, and that quality should shine through. I think it will be a lively encounter, with the first half ending 0-0.

The second half is where I imagine the action will unfold, and I hope it is in favour of Notts rather than them.

he Notts vs Gillingham match could end in a draw, given Gillingham’s strong defence and high expectations for this game. I can see why some Notts fans expect a challenging match; Gillingham is a formidable opponent. However, Notts has shown impressive form and attacking prowess, which could lead to a high-scoring game. The uncertainty around Gillingham’s injuries and the potential for unnecessary mistakes at the back by Notts could balance the game, making a draw a likely outcome.

It really is a must-win game. Meadow Lane will be packed with fans, and it is important that we continue to win games on our own soil. I would take a point, but a win would be far more important to keep morale as high as possible. We have the likes of Jones, Crowley, Jatta, and McGoldrick, who, if on their day, are very difficult to play against. Gillingham might have injuries within their squad, but so do we. I think it’s important that Notts tries to maintain a winning record, at least at home. At the same time, I respect how we are unbeaten so far. I hope the players can avoid that come kick off.

I think we will do well. They might have a good defence, but they have not faced us. I do know they can be quite dirty, so I just hope the referee is able to manage that side of the game.

With the talk on social media from Gillingham fans, I will be disappointed if they don’t give us a game. I think at our best we could crush them. Equally, if they are defensively solid, they might prove to be a hassle at the other end of the pitch. I hope Jatta can make all the difference, or someone else.

I know both teams have changed a lot since Gillingham last played at Meadow Lane, but I thought they gave us a good game. It was a hard-fought 2-1 win, which is how I think tomorrow will go. It doesn’t really matter who scores, but the win and maintaining that undefeated record is important.

Gillingham will find us as tough as we find them, so it should be lively and a good game overall.

I think Meadow Lane will be buzzing. Stuart Maynard has called upon us to be the 12th man, and we need to make sure we don’t get on top of our own players because Gillingham may want that. I hope the majority can keep it positive, even if we hit a snag like we did against Bromley. It won’t be any easier against The Gills, but we need to make sure we are good going forward and solid at the back. We have to want the ball.

I hope David McGoldrick is in form. We have every chance of pulling off a victory if Gillingham’s defence is as good as their fans say. His class could be the dividing factor.

Notts should be mostly unchanged, with Alex Bass in goal and the three centre backs being the usuals. I think Conor Grant will start, along with Dan Crowley and Matt Palmer. The question is who will lead the attack? Will we play both Jatta and David McGoldrick, or will we start one and play another attacking midfielder? I am hoping it’s not a nerve-wracking game, as I am used to things being a lot easier to cope with.

Gillingham always seem to think they’ll beat us, and they did last season. I think we made it easier for them at times. I hope if we stay strong in defence, they’ll find it harder, and we can play our usual game. I just want to see Notts work hard and try their best. Winning isn’t as important as the effort.

Notts team for the match against Gillingham today.

No Jatta.

On current form I think this team is our strongest side. Tsaroulla will probably be left wing back, Jones right wing back.
