I've gone for Matty Platt as Notts man of the match. He's been so good for Notts all season & he was the same today. I think our defensive unit, including Jacob & Lewis  played well too, against a very good side.

Jacob Bedaeu, he played some quality football and was defensively spot on for me. Bedaeu, can play a quick pass which a lot of our players seem afraid to do, but this from him gave David McGoldrick a good chance and he put Conor Grant clear through until a Gillingham player clattered Grant.

I felt a bit miffed by Matty Platt's Man of the Match at the game, I thought he was quite solid but wasn't as involved. I wouldn't say poor, as he was good but just not Man of the Match for me.

I hope they don’t show more spirit and play their best against us. I really hope they play poorly and we capitalise on that.

Thank goodness the officials can’t be voted for! I bet somewhere on the internet, a Gillingham fan site is voting for them as their Men of the Match.

I voted for Dan Crowley. It’s a shame no one else really got going despite some of his clever passing.

Dan Crowley pulled the strings and did very well. I don’t think Jodi Jones had much luck with the way he was being kicked and fouled.

Yeah tough one because their goal was the only stain on an otherwise very solid display. Was Platt a bit slow to react to the through ball? Should Bedeau score that chance at the very end? Crowley was his usual self in that he was very tidy on the ball but didn't cause too many problems for their defence this time round. Think I'll say Bedeau though, his general defensive display was very good, I'll let him off because he's not a forward!

Jacob Bedeau was quality, by far the best defender and very good going forward. His performance seems to be getting overlooked. Not sure Matty Platt played any better, so I did find him being named as the Man of the Match by the sponsors to be a baffling decision. Bedeau and Dan Crowley were our best players. Alex Bass played very well, made some good saves, but Gillingham never really tested him. A lot of the saves were routine, but he commanded the area well.

Notts didn’t play badly. I thought we were the better team but just couldn’t score. When we did, it was ruled offside.

As disappointing as that is, I think Dan Crowley was the Man of the Match.

Alex Bass, Jacob Bedeau, Conor Grant, David McGoldrick, and Jodi Jones also did well and were close.

If Jodi Jones hadn’t been kicked and taken down like a rugby player, he would have turned the game in our favour. I think Gillingham knew this and started targeting him.

Despite needing to be taken off, he gets my vote for his excellent performance.

Jacob Bedeau was great going forward and a rock in defence. I couldn’t fault his performance at all.

I vote for Jacob Bedeau. He was the most involved player on both sides of the pitch. He was impressive in both defence and attack.

It’s tough for defenders to get the credit they deserve sometimes, but Jacob Bedeau definitely deserves my vote. He’s been brilliant and has played well all season so far.

Bedaeu would be my Man of the Match. I thought he was a rock at the back and bright with his passing. He feeds David McGoldrick so well for a defender. You could easily forget that’s his position with how much he gets involved.

Jodi Jones was class until he was forced off. I think he was brilliant playing out wide and had a good game.

It’s a hard decision because none of the lads played badly, but my vote would go to Jacob Bedaeu.
