So it looks like we are going to see a La Liga match played in Miami USA to generate plenty of cash for Barcelona & Atletico Madrid & god knows who else.

Will this lead to the likes of Man City, Liverpool, Man Utd & Arsenal doing a similar thing & play some of their games in Cities across the World?

I'm sure that supporters wouldn't like this development. Trouble is, the loyal supporter is the last group that the top clubs would think about when there's money to be made.

Thought's?

Lots of concerns about this development.

The league systems are based on home and away matches. Home teams have the advantage because home fans will be the vast majority of the crowd.

Away fans would enjoy the trip to Barcelona, but would be in less numbers. How are fans going to travel all the way to Miami. Not many if any.

And what about the season ticket holders of Barcelona, who will be in their tend of thousands. Will they be compensated for the game they won't be able to attend? Probably not.

So what if it finishes up with these top teams playing half their matches abroad in the future. What about the fans of those clubs?

It looks like this development could open up a massive can of worms. How could they be selling season tickets if half the matches are somewhere else?

it needs to be ruled against because its a disadvantage to other spanish teams that are not as big or glamorous. it also makes zero sense for it to be played anywhere but the rightful home teams ground. its things like this i dislike, save them for friendly games.

If this actually happens and is Deemed a Success how long before Top Teams in  the Premier League or other European Leagues Follow Suit? This type of Game seems to be adapting to the Template of what the NFL American Football Leagues have been doing with Huge success by playing games at both Wembley and Tottenham's Ground along with  holding matches in Germany.

The NFL have done this to increase the Profile and Visibility   of their Game, where there was some support into a very Lucrative Business over the Following Years and it seems that, European Clubs are returning the Trend by sending their Top Teams to the U.S.A to play Soccer (as they call it) matches. How Long Before We See The Manchester Derby Played at Inter Miami's Ground? With the Match being Televised over the Whole of the States? Imagine the the TV Money this will Generate for each Club. They Won't Give A Monkey's Cuss About Their Loyal Fans Feelings. How about Inter Milan vs AC Milan being played in New York, which has a Large  Population of people of Italian Decent based there. This Needs Nipping In The Bud by Uefa, but Will It? Probably Not, Because Money Talks and if Enough of it is Offered, We Fans will be watching Top European Games Being Beamed Direct From The States, In The Not To Distant Future.

If this takes off & many games are played out of the Country, I am sure there will be a growing discontent from the fan base of these clubs, & I'm sure other league clubs will complain too.

I think it would be the beginning of the end of the season ticket system. I can see those top clubs getting rid of season tickets because they will still fill their grounds with a membership scheme instead.

Imagine Barrow v Notts being played on a Tuesday night in Newfoundland?

With an unconventional shirt sponsor, Barrow go into their EFL Cup tie with Chelsea hoping to promote themselves and a Canadian province.

It would be bad move for Notts & any other club that would even think of wanting to play league games abroad. I would be totally against it & so would the vast majority of fans

This cannot be allowed, it's a slap in the face for the loyal supporters of both clubs.

Just imagine if we do a Bournemouth, we're in the Premier League and then our owners start pushing to play league games halfway across the world...
