It was a narrow defeat for Notts today against Peterborough in the FA Cup. Although they lost, there were still some big individual performances by the Notts players

My short list for Man of the match are the following players:-

Bedeau, Palmer, Hinchy, Tsaroulla,Scott, Abbott, Macari, Platt & Bass.

Defensively, we were superb despite the goals we conceded. Matty Platt and Jacob Bedeau especially, but I just thought George Abbott was class on the ball. He got stuck in with everything and put on a good display. I thought even Kellan Gordon put in a good shift, considering how inconsistent he can be - I thought he really stepped up today.

I agree with @Chris that we were superb today in defense. Just unlucky with a couple of their goals, otherwise cwe could easily have won this game.

I thought Matty Platt had a blinder again, Bass was superb between the sticks. Bedeau was good too. I thought Jack Hinchy played his best game for us, Scott did ok, & I'm pleased he scored.

I thought George Abbott was absolutely superb today. He's going to go a long way. I hope Spurs don't recall him in January.

He was all over the pitch & ran himself to a standstill.

So my man of the match is George Abbott. Can he win PON man of the match again?

I didn’t go to the match but listening to the commentary it sounds like Bass made quite a few top drawer saves without which the result would have been a heavy defeat, so my vote goes to Bass.

alex bass was top draw, but really i left feeling more impressed by george abbott by just how much he shined against a team of players who have played at a higher level. abbott looked comfortable and much more settled than when he first arrived, he worked very hard.

George Abbott impressed me the most with his confident play and relentless effort, despite the loss.

Abbott's performance was a class act against Peterborough's skilled players. He's adapted beautifully and shined through. His positioning, vision, and precise passes left the opposition struggling to keep up. Furthermore, his composure under pressure and ability to anticipate plays were nothing short of remarkable. It was a masterclass in footballing intelligence and skill.

I voted for George Abbott because I think he put in a solid shift. He performed better than most players on the pitch, including Peterborough's team. I thought his goal was just the icing on the cake of what was an excellent performance.

Jacob Bedeau got my vote. I thought he was classy and did very well. I don't think we would have performed so well without him, yes we made mistakes but considering the calibre of Peterborough United you would expect that. Big shoutout to George Abbott for his impressive performance this season! I'm proud we have him on loan.

I think Bass was having a good game up until he had a couple of awful pass outs one of which led to their second goal which put a spring in their game when they were looking a bit down without which I think we may have held out

I voted for Matty Platt. I thought he was the rock in our defence and kept us structured against a team that could skilfully create chances. It's a shame he went off. I hope it's not a bad injury.

Matty Platt deserves recognition for his consistent defending, such a reliable player at the back.

His performance really was a top-draw effort, one which continues to impress me just how his quality shines. Congratulations to George Abbott on a job well done! If my memory serves me this will be his third Pride of Nottingham Man of the Match of the season. :D

And, he's even in the running for the Player of the Month for November!
