My New Year resolutions:

To accept myself as I am and stop trying to be what I’m not.

To eat as healthily as I can but have the occasional treat.

To keep fit and continue my park runs even though I get slower every year.

Anyone else making a resolution? Why not resolve to come on PoN at least once a day and make at least one reply or new topic.

    Slow and steady wins the race @Fan of Big Tone. (Unless you happen to be playing in a wide position for Notts County, in which case please be fast.)

    Mine is to quit doomscrolling. I like to keep an eye on the news and social media, but in the last year or so I've found myself mindlessly scrolling through complete garbage and getting involved in discussions under clickbait articles. It just gets me agitated. In 2025 I will stop and pick up a book instead. This will be easier said than done in a year in which a new US administration promises endless "entertainment" on my news app of choice, but it has to be done!

    I want to continue with the walking all be it not as far as this year. Another 31 miles this month, the miles keep piling up.

    I want to make a conscious effort to spend less time on social media & take up some new pursuits.

    And it will be diet time at the beginning  of 2025 after a few weeks of over indulgence.

    Happy new year to everyone on PON.
