Junior Morias recalled.

This is a surprise. I always wanted Junior to be given a chance, but it didn't seem that he was in Stuart's long term plans.Β

Jatta will be on international dutyΒ  soon, so this move must be to cover for him while he's away, & to give Notts more options other than Didzy & TraorΓ©.

I'm hoping that Junior does get an opportunity because just sitting on the bench is not what he wants I'm sure.

I must say I'm a little concerned about Traore's fitness, & it doesn't seem as though Notts feel that Will Jarvis can do a job in the centre forward position.

i am a little annoyed by it, why do we keep recalling him and never giving junior morias a proper chance. i almost expect him to be sent out on loan in a few days time, just as we start to think he has a chance. imagine being morias with how notts have prevented him from playing, and basically signed a player to not actually play much at all. i really do hope he gets a chance.

its very odd behaviour by notts.

I did not see that one coming.

We have often heard that players won't be signed just to make up the numbers, but that appears to be exactly what has happened with Junior.Β  Not really fancied by any manager he played under since arriving.Β Β

Strikers are generally confidence players and need a run in the team to get going but I can't see him getting it, at best a few appearances from the bench waiting for Jatta to return and Traore to get fit.Β

On Traore, he was thrown in sooner than normal after arriving so hopefully just needs time.

And it seems they are not sure what to do with Jarvis.Β  Talented lad, again hopefully with some game time we'll see a bit more from him.

I hope Junior Morias gets a chance this time. He has a lot of pace and brings qualities that Notts are missing at the moment. He could fit into the squad in so many ways. His natural finishing ability would be a huge benefit if Notts could create chances that aren't just tap-ins or attempts to walk the ball into the net. Few players seem confident in taking shots from distance. I feel he deserves an opportunity, as he is one of the players who has been treated unfairly.

@The Cheshunt PieΒ I think most of the Notts fans think that he has been treated poorly by the management. There are other players we could mentioned that seem to have been treated poorly too.

Whether it's something on the training field or whether it's to do with not getting on with the Coach, we can only speculate.

But now he's been recalled he should be given a chance. Let him do his talking on the field of play. He could prove is doubters wrong.

Where is the motivation to get the best out of Junior Morias? While he’s a professional, his morale must have taken a hit after being recalled and realising he hasn’t been given much of a chance before. What will change now? I feel this season should have been the deciding factor on whether Morias can step up, and I truly believe he’s been mismanaged. It’s disappointing to see a footballer treated so poorly by the club I support. If the club didn’t think he was good enough, they should have worked harder to move him on, rather than relying on him in desperation. This does little for his morale, confidence, or career while tied to Notts. We can only hope he gets a proper chance now and wish him well if he does.

I don’t think comparing training to actual game time is a fair comparison; it’s like apples and oranges. Some fans believe he had a chance to impress in matches, but the fact is he’s had fewer opportunities than Mai Traore and some of the other signings the club has persisted with. I don’t believe training has anything to do with this, not at all.

I think it’s more about his position and possibly his height. Notts seem to believe we don’t need many options up front. With Junior Morias’s height up against a lot of League Two teams with tall defences, I think that’s the real issue. I’m among the fans who hope he gets a chance, as I feel let down by the way Notts have treated him.

As for his eligibility, there is no restriction from him playing for Dagenham & Redbridge and Woking in the National League. Players can compete in Non-League football without it causing issues in the English Football League. The two-team rule only applies in League Two and higher, not in Non-League and below. As long as his registration is processed, there will be no restrictions stopping him from playing.

Jarvis & Whittaker are no better than Martin & Brown who we let go. Cisse has lots of potential & he's worth a place on the bench.Β

Junior has shown that he can score goals. Traore hasn't really showed much since his arrival.Β

I would prefer Junior over Traore at this time. He deserves another opportunity.Β
