A vital win today for Notts away to Newport County today.

A great team performance from the lads today.

I have chosen the starting 11 for you to choose your OON Man of the Match from. Those players are:-

Slocombe, Bedeau, Platt Whitaker, McGoldrick, Palmer, Tsaroulla, Macari, Jatta, Abbott, Jarvis.

Please choose your player & let us know why you chose him.

A vital win for Notts today and a great team performance too.

My top four players today are Matty Platt, Nick Tsaroulla, Charlie Whitaker, & David McGoldrick.

The Notts defence was solid today & Matty was the luck of the defenders for me today.

David McGoldrick was as influential as ever, & Nick Tsaroulla had an excellent game too.

I think that Charlie Whitaker had his best game for Notts today. He looked as though he wanted to make the number 10 role his own, & his two goals was the icing on the cake.

So Charlie gets my nod as Man of the match.

Purely based on the commentary and reports I have read (of which I have read multiple), I have voted for Charlie Whitaker, who is looking like a very important young player to retain.

One can tell a complete team performance by the number of different players nominated.

Abbott showed us today why he will be a big miss when he leaves, but going with the flow, Whitaker strikes showed the extra piece of class

Couldn't believe Charlie's 2nd goal....to hit the ball 1st time from DMs pass was brilliant....most players would have taken a touch.....most players would have put the ball into the stand....Charlie didn't....a brilliant strike...

The back 3 were all solid, Bedeau in particular got forward really well. Abbott was everywhere like usual, Tsaroulla had one his best games and McGoldrick always looked dangerous and a threat on the ball. I think it's hard to argue against Whitaker though, two superb goals and his all-round game was really solid too.

First and foremost, it was a fantastic team performance. However, my vote had to go to Charlie Whitaker. Highlighting individual standouts after the event wouldn't be fair to the team, so I'll simply commend Whitaker for elevating his game to a whole new level.

When it comes to performances, Charlie Whitaker has been delivering some impressive displays. When the players around him perform well, he looks a cut above League Two. Yesterday, I thought he was outstanding throughout the match and fully deserved his brace. It’s just a pity he didn’t get the hat-trick, but he must be enjoying his time at Notts.
