Good morning all from Invergorden in Bonny Scotland. The weather is overcast but dry and a bit cool. We’ve just docked here for our first port of call after two days at sea, although we did briefly have to stop in **** to disembark a passenger who was very ill and needed hospital treatment I hope they recover.

We are having a great time with some lovely food, today we are off on an excursion which involves a trip on the Caledonian canal, I hope it stays dry.

Cheers for now,

Edit: the forum software doesn’t like the word N i g g, it’s a place in Scotland on the Moray Firth, also forgot to say we saw dolphins as we entered the firth, they gave us a great display really close to the ship.

It's been a reasonable day here weather wise. Took a trip to the supermarket this morning to get a few goodies.

Planning to get into the garden tomorrow to fit a trellis to the garden f nice o secure our climbing Rose. Lots of rose flowers on it this year.

This past weekend I've also been brushing the moss off the North side of the house walls where the wall meets the ground, just below the damp course. It's coming off quite easily with a scrubbing brush.

if its warm, please try to stay in the shade and dehydrated, but i am sure you know this @Robbie.

@Fan of Big Tone, hope you are having a nice time tone.

i am not in work tomorrow until 1:30pm, i have to work with the night shift partly as we have had new shelves and storage installed to make room for the modernisation. so, i will have a bit of extra sleep for once.

@liampie I always wear a hat & keep covered so as not to get sun burnt. We've got some factor 50 that we use when doing work outside. Like you said it's important to keep hydrated too.

Please tell me, is it an Alf Stewart type hat? 😍

A bit more of a productive day for me, at least in terms of PON. The news coming in, it's starting to make me feel like the season is around the corner, instead of radio silence. Not that I think it's unnatural for the club to go quiet, in fact it's perfectly normal and means little. It certainly doesn't mean they are not busy making things happen, as it will be that reason why it has been quiet.

It's also nice to have a bit of a laugh, and include banter. 😁

When I get a chance, I want to try to finish some coding stuff that I can do. Progress is being made, which is a good thing. No real news otherwise, c'mon and join in folks. Tell us about your day.

i have not long finished the later shift, its been nice not to have to be out in the heat or waking up early for a change. im getting the pre season vibe now we have signed two players and of course have our first friendly game arranged.

I should make time to sort out my front and back garden. Some of the flowers need pruning, and the back hedge could do with a trim.

I also need to replace a water feature that I’ve had for about fifteen years. That won’t be happening until next month, though. I wonder if PON has many keen gardeners.

Good afternoon, thanks to those who sent good wishes to Mrs. T she’s doing ok, I managed to get off the ship in Kirkwall and went into town to get her a walking stick and a compression bandage. The swelling is going down but it’s still badly bruised she’s finding it a bit easier to put weight on but still using a wheelchair to get around the ship.

Today we are in Stornoway it’s very dull drizzly and cool, I might catch the shuttle bus to explore while Mrs T relaxes.

I keep checking to see if we’ve got a new manager but not seen anything unless I’ve missed it.

I used to love gardening. I do sometimes help out with my dad's garden, but I don't do much for my own now.

I got my front and back garden into what is fairly easy to maintain, and now my wife just takes care of the grass. She's planted some flowers, which looks nice in the front. I do miss gardening, but it's not as easy for me these days. I would melt in my front garden, I dug the whole front and back up to level it out many years ago. I struggled with the heat then.

It's been a pleasant warm day here.

Took the wife to the Dentist for her six monthly check up this morning. She will have to have a filling done.

Spent some time in the garden. I couldn't get the trellis I wanted the other day but I've secured our climbing rose to the fence using string. It looks ok as a temporary fix.

I've also made repairs to our garden fence. I will also be looking to fit some post buddies to a fence post that's a bit loose tomorrow.

I can certainly recommend the metal post buddies. I've fitted them to half a dozen of our fence posts. They do extend the life a bit more.

Morning all, we have two days at sea cruising around the Scottish Isles before heading to Belfast where we have booked an excursion to the Titanic Museum which is supposed to be really good.

Watched a great show onboard last night a group called The Shamrock Tenors, singing Irish songs really good entertainment. Also just before we set sail a Scottish group came onboard to entertain us. Here they are singing in the Atrium.

Some more work needs to be done on the site, which the focus is largely on the dashboard.

There's a small update, and a bug with the topics styling. This will be looked into ASAP, it seems to be related to the main theme. My friends that I go to games with have asked if I want to go to the Alfreton friendly. However, Jake already stated to me, as I suspected, that our annual visit to play them would be arranged again. He doesn't want to go, though I have been asked to see if he would change his mind.

Not much else to add right now, but I might have some updates later on.

What is everyone else up to today? I hope those who are at work are able to keep cool. It's quite humid here.

This is a good word game @super_ram

It's been a pleasant warm day here.

I fitted posts buddies to my fence posts today to give them some extended life.

I also spent time in the garden cutting down dead flowers and generally tidying up.

We've been waiting for our plant delivery to come. We received a part delivery on Wednesday, but although the second package was out for delivery yesterday it didn't arrive. Thankfully we received it today, so the work begins tomorrow.

We'll be making up pots, & hanging baskets.

Morning all, we’ve just arrived in a rather misty, murky Belfast, today we are going on an excursion around Belfast and then to the Titanic Museum which is supposed to be very good, Mrs. T is under strict instructions not to fall down the coach steps this time.

Her ankle is still improving she walked with her stick to the dining room which is at the other end of the ship. If she struggles at the museum we’ll borrow a wheelchair.

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning from sunny Liverpool, yes the sun has found us at last after a very rainy day in Belfast yesterday, at least we got to visit the Titanic Museum and had a tour of the city.

We crossed the Irish Sea during the night, now we have two days in Liverpool, looking forward to seeing the sights.

Good evening all. It's been a dry and partly sunny day here.

We managed to get the vast majority of our new plant seedlings replanted. Just a couple of trays left to do. I need to get some more compost & some new pots for the remaining seedlings.

We've got four hanging baskets done but we haven't hung them up yet to be sure that the seedlings get the full sun for a few days to get established.

i started the day as per usual, i fetched my mums weekly shopping and took it to her. i then spent a few hours helping to do things mum needed hep with, before i took my dad out to his favourite pub for carvery.

its been hot in spells, but the breeze and weather has been lovely.

happy fathers day to all the dads on pon!

πŸ˜‚ Ha ha, I see what you did there @Piethagoram

It certainly is a beautiful building and the whole story once inside is quite emotive but very well put together respectfully.
