Welcome Aw Saint

Featured Replies

Hi everyone.

Thank you all so much for welcoming me.

I am from Scotland and support St Mirren

I have been following you guys for a few years now. Albeit from afar. I am hoping to come see you play this coming season and thought it best to come on board the forum.

Cheers

Alex

hello, @Aw Saint. welcome to pon! what is your background with supporting notts?

i hope you enjoy and get stuck in sharing your thoughts.

You will find our fans to be very friendly, are you coming for social media or just because you would like to see meadow lane, and notts?

I have always had a soft spot for the club. We also play in black and white. We had Junior Morais play for us. Although it was not for long and he was not very good.

if you like a pre match drink, there is the embankment pub which is a nice stop and its quite laid back. we also have the nest which is located near the kop stand, and the navi which is a short walk from the clubs main gates and club shop.

Superb thanks for the info.

I really hope it is a successful season for both clubs

Thanks for taking the time to introduce yourself, @Aw Saint.

In the early to mid-90s, my mum was a self-employed machinist and she worked on a lot of Scottish club shirts, before everything was produced in Asia. One of them was St Mirren. She wasn't allowed to keep off-cuts, though I remember seeing the colours and getting excited about it being the same as Notts.

I believe this was the one I recall.

As @liampie said, you will have a good trip to Nottingham and our fans are very friendly. Thanks for joining us, I look forward to hearing about your trip, and potential thoughts on some vital three points. 🀞

I just love the black and white stripes.

I am looking forward to getting down for some games. Hopefully the fixtures will be out soon to see what games I can get too.

When is the new strip launch for Notts?

Welcome to the Pride of Nottingham, @Aw Saint.

Great to see a St Mirren's fan showing interest in Notts, there's a few fans that come down from Scotland. You might be lucky this year with the shirt releases, but I wouldn't count on it. They also sell out fast, as the club doesn't buy enough.

Welcome @Aw Saint.

It's good to see someone outside of the fan base showing an interest in the club, Notts might become your favourite English club. Notts have the habit of being very late with the kit launches, and if you order online make sure to check back. Last season there was an error that said stock had sold out, when the club shop was still selling them. Fans who called managed to get past the online messages.

Much appreciated. Notts are already my favourite English club and I am looking forward to cominb down to see them in action.

St Mirren are not entirely speedy on strip launches either πŸ™ˆ

I hope Notts get promoted this season and I have my fingers crossed.

I think its a kit thing with puma being notoriously slow, but they tend to be worth the wait. Promotion would be nice!

Hoping the new kit is a belter. Will be buying it once it is out.
