The two matches that I will be following will be Spain v England & Denmark v France.

England have flattered to deceive during this tournament but still find themselves in the quarters where anything can happen.

Denmark are the current interest to Notts fans as their manager is reputed to be in the running for the Notts Head Coach job.

It was a great win for young England against Spain in the quarter finals last night. England had stuttered in the group games but came alive last night with two early goals.

Spain came back strongly & pulled a goal back before half time, & England had to defend stoutly in the second half.

It could have been a nervy last few minutes, but thankfully England scored late on when they were awarded a penalty.

I am particularly pleased for young England manager, Lee Carsley who is doing a tremendous job with the England under 21s. He deserves every plaudit that he is getting

England have every chance against the Netherlands in the semi final on Wednesday. Spain were regarded as one of the most strongest teams in the tournament. If England can play as they did last night a place in the final is possible.

Another great England performance to win against a very dangerous Netherlands side. Lee Carsley is doing a brilliant job with his under 21 England side.

Two well taken goals in the 2nd half by Harvey Elliott took England to the final.

No matter who they meet in the final, this team will do their absolute best & you just cannot right them off.

Germany or France in the Final will be a mouthwatering prospect & England have every chance of winning this tournament no matter which team they may meet.

England played really well in the first half, but they eased off a bit when certain chances came their way. Harvey Elliott, James McAtee and Omari Hutchinson all look like future stars. They showed great quality throughout.

James Beadle looked very calm and composed. He might be a good option for us if we can bring him in on loan.
