Given Tranmere's current form, our Magpies will need every ounce of tactical acumen to navigate this match. Their unbeaten home streak and physical playstyle often create hurdles for teams like us who

Very poor and very frustrating.

We have proven good players way off form - Jones, Bedeau, Tsaroulla

We have unproven players way off proving themselves - Cotter, Iorpenda

And we can't afford all these games for Norburn to gain sharpness. Not showing for the ball and the occasional first time ball straight back to a defender isn't worth the shirt.

There are many things for MP to address at HT he must think 'where do I start?'

Sounds absolutely dreadful tbh.

Still not convinced by Jones in this “new” role. He seems to argue with officials, opponents etc & he’s far too easy to wind up. He got credit for 2 or 3 assists v the Shrews but, to be fair, one was a serious gk error and another a goalmouth scramble so I don’t believe he had as any really significant contribution, no more than anyone else could have made for certain.

Stall has just mentioned, we are getting neither of a clean sheet or a 90 min performance! That’s a major part of our problems tbh.

League 2 Table after 6 games. Notts in 13th place, 6 points behind the leader.

Well that’s cheered me up no end today, what a great win, I was thinking a draw would be a good result but a win was beyond my wildest dreams, we’ll done Notts, we’ll done MP, those travelling supporters will have a great journey home no doubt, at last Notts have given the something to smile about.

Another goal for goal machine Dennis and Jatta set up a goal for Gordon, brilliant.

I'm going to give Martin Paterson credit for introducing his substitutions in the 2nd half. Those changes made all the difference to the intensity & we know that Jatta can show lots of class when he's on song & we saw that today, that turned out to be a vital flick that led to the winning goal.

It's always tough for Notts to get a result at Tranmere. This is our first win in a very long time, & I like the way the team toughed it out in the end to get the result. It's vital that Notts hold their own against teams such as Tranmere & Notts did it today. Well done U PIES.

Great result! Could this be the start of two up front! One thing for certain MP can't drop Dennis. 3 game unbeaten run. Gradually gelling as a team.

Well this was a turn up for the books. Three points against a very tough Tranmere side, nice to see the Magpies battle back after going 1-0 down. But once again Notts had a very poor first half, according to the BBC Sports Website, In that half Notts had No Shots either on or off Target or any touches in the Rovers area, despite having 63% possession, add to that 45 back passes. But things certainly got better in the Second half by getting back on level terms through Dennis, with a New Nickname ITMA (It's That Man Again). the Guy is on Fire at the moment and long may it continue.

The inclusion and Introduction of Jatta in the Second Half proves what an asset to the team he is, and provided Notts can keep hold of him, after the Transfer Window closes all the better for the Magpies and He and Dennis could form quite Strike force for Notts. It would seem that Martin Paterson is trying to keep a settled starting XI, but there maybe the occasional Tweak, if the Magpies can get on a good run. Charlie Whittaker had a decent game and his assist proved he was looking to prove to his former employers, were wrong for letting him go. But Today was all about Notts, and hopefully this Result will give the Magpies something to Build On. C.O.Y.P.

Utter garbage journalism from the BBC. A 1st half #Notts actually were in control of.

This felt like the kind of away performance we’ve been missing lately. Going behind made things look a bit shaky, but the team came out strong after half-time and turned it around quickly. Kellan Gordon gave us a real boost down the right when he came on, adding pace and energy. Jatta’s clever flick helped set up the chance for Dennis, and it was good to see players linking up well in key moments.

At the back, we were stretched now and then, but Kelle Roos stepped up with some vital saves. The way the team stuck together in stoppage time was brilliant, especially with Tranmere piling forward and trying everything. It wasn’t the tidiest win, but sometimes you’ve got to grind it out away from home and this was one of those times.

i am not saying this to be controversial but i felt if stuart maynard was in charge, the subs would not have been made and the positive impact they introduced to the game would have seen us either draw or lose. martin paterson looked very animated, even after he was yellow carded. i just feel the players responded well and what was a negative setback, became a positive when the changes came on.

first half notts was all over tranmere, they looked weak on the ball and just looked like a poor team. notts just needed to access their options a bit more but once tranmere did score, i thought here we go.

the fans were superb, the loudest and best atmosphere from start to finish. second half was all mostly notts, we could have had a few more if things had gone to plan but near the final minutes it was nail baiting to see how many chances they had to equalise. kellan gordon near the end had the chance to put some of this pressure off, but slipped after holding up the play. i thought he should have released the ball to matthew dennis i think it was but great to see him on the score sheet.
