An interesting interview with Luke, he talks about his career as a manager including his time at Notts.

A very good & revealing interview by Luke Williams. I really enjoyed it. He talked about his career including his time at Swindon, Notts & Swansea.

Some take aways from the interview. Luke really enjoyed his time at Notts. The owners were so supportive & everybody was pulling in the same direction when he was at Notts from the Club officials to the players.

He talked about how Notts use the Football data & how it assisted him do do his job. He did talk about the fact that the data cannot help when it comes to a footballer's personality traits which can affect how a footballer performs.

He talked about how Notts were high up there when it came to possession & getting crosses into the box, & they were very good at winning back possession very quickly which is very important.

I picked up that Luke's experience at Swansea wasn't the same as when he was at Notts.

An important point was that Luke wasn't fussy about what level he may return to football at, which means that he could very well come back to a club in league 2 in the future.

It is clear that Luke had a good relationship with the Notts owners & talked warmly about them. Could we ever see Luke back at Meadow Lane? My take is never say never.

I really don’t know why we didn’t approach Luke when we sacked Maynard, or perhaps they did? I’m sure he’d have come back given his comments on the podcast. However it is what it is and we’ve got Patterson who I’ll support as always.

we have moved forward, i guess the club has different ideas and visions now at least at this stage. its like how we sign players, some might come back but most probably wont.

if luke williams can gain more experience, i think that would make him stand out.
