Sad news today about Colin Addison. Who can ever forget his non league Hereford side beating Newcastle United 2:1 in front of the TV cameras at Edgar Street with John Motson the commentator. Arguably the most famous giant killing act in football history.

His death is particularly sad for Notts fans like myself as he had a seven month spell as Assistant Manager at Notts from Dec 1975 to June 1976 & he managed Derby County between July 1979 & Jan 1982.

Proud to be a supporter for 58 years & counting of the oldest professional football club in the World. COYP
