The hatred against Bristol Rovers began here

Featured Replies

Well I must be miss remembering that because I was there and I thought it was something to do with their player was injured so a Notts player kicked the ball out for a throw in, when play resumed they didn’t throw the ball back to us as is customary but threw it to one of their players and they went on to score.

Or was it the other way round because our goal was disallowed? My memory is not good.

Actually @Fan of Big Tone wasn't that another game?

It could be, I don’t know, perhaps someone else with a better memory than me could tell us.

I'm making my first ever visit to Bristol Rovers on Saturday - so a new ground - really looking forward to it.

All that controversy seems a eon ago, but I still hate them (more fun that way) never let go of football grudge, they're precious.

Yes that might be the one I remember, when our their player was injured the goalie threw the ball out of play and Rammage I think took the throw in and didn’t give them the ball back and Stallard scored. I think Notts players were accusing them of time wasting.
