Pete Wild: Fleetwood Town boss is dismissed by League Two...

League Two side Fleetwood Town sack head coach Pete Wild and his assistant Adam Temple after a run of six defeats in seven matches.

This is a very strange decision when Fleetwood are still in mid table & only 9 points from a playoff place.

It's always a strange time for someone to take over with the transfer window shut by the time someone is appointed.

The owners could be looking for a new boss to give the side a bounce, but it could easily go the other way. In my opinion it will be tough for Interim Head Coach Matt Lawlor, (who was first team coach under Pete Wild), although his team beat bottom of the table Harrogate on Saturday.
