A dissapointing result for Notts tonight losing their unbeaten run to an improving Shrewsbury side under their new Head Coach.

So who is your Notts player that was better than the rest. I have chosen the first eleven players for you to make your choice.

Those players are,

Belshaw, Macari, Platt, Bedeau, Tsaroulla, Norburn, Iorpenda, Jones, Grant, Tangen, Dennis

Another pretty easy one for me - Matty Platt. Loads of defending and loads of the ball. He even had 2 of our better attempts on goal.

Credit to Belshaw as well for a couple of good saves.

I don't think any of the other 14 players to feature had a better than average game. JJ would've gone from best to worst in 3 days if it wasn't for Ndlovu.

Yep definitely Matty Platt for me too for the exact reasons @theAnticlough described.

Yes, Platt for me too. Not many other candidates but noble effort from Grant & Macari again. Belshaw’s saves were notable and Bedeau put a decent shift in, as usual.

Disappointed by Jones, he got credit for his contribution at Bromley but he looked tentative and ineffective last night. Iorpenda faded after a lovely start, as did Tsaroulla. Overall, too timid, too slow to get the ball forward and not enough support for Dennis.

Unbeaten run had to end somewhere - pity it was due to a limp display.
