A brilliant night for Notts County tonight & it's fanbase. After a dissapointing defeat against Chesterfield Notts were back with a bang tonight. So many good performances from the players, & a great team effort.

So who's your favourite player that stands above the rest tonight. These are the players I've chosen for you to pick your man.

Belshaw, Macari, McDonald, Bedeau, Tsaroulla, Palmer, Iorpenda, Jones, Bennetts, Tangen, Grant, Jatta, Hall

So many candidates tonight.

Mention must go to Bedeau, Palmer and Grant for great performances. Also Hall - his best showing for a while.

Special mention to Macari. We missed him against Chesterfield. I'm glad he reacted so well to getting dropped for that game.

Just edging all those out though, by my reckoning, was Jodi Jones. He terrorised them. He gets my vote.

The whole team played well, for me two stand outs were Jones and Grant, my vote goes to Grant because I was really pleased he got a goal playing in a position he isn’t comfortable with, I hope he goes on to pop a few more in.

Lots of great performances by individual players tonight. It was a great team effort. It was arguably the best team performance of the season.

Every player who played on that pitch tonight made a contribution that is worth a mention. Tom Iorpenda, Jodi Jones, James Belshaw, Keanan Bennetts & Matt Palmer were standouts.

All of those players could easily have got the gong tonight, however, I'm going for Conor Grant for his outstanding performance in an unfamiliar position tonight. Even Martin Paterson was impressed with him.

Superb team performance which featured some impressive individual contributions.

I thought McDonald was his usual composed self and he hit a couple of great long balks and a “winger’s” cross. Bennetts was busy, good on the ball, bagged a goal & worked tirelessly. Iorpenda got better as the game progressed and excelled when we started to tire a wee bit. No passengers at all, some good input from the subs and a couple of tremendous saves from Belshaw into the bargain.

The standout performance came from Grant - the subtlety, quality of control, awareness, an assist, a goal and the usual energy, work rate & persistence shone through tonight. He gets my vote, unequivocally.

I caught part of the game, but I have seen what I had missed and I think Rod McDonald improves us massively at the back. He gets my vote, but it wasn't easy at all. It was a very good performance, and anyone like Nick Tsaroulla, Jodi Jones, and most of the squad could easily be voted. We worked hard as a team against a weaker team and made them look bad.

A field where dreams become reality.

The whole team, including substitutes deserve a patt on the back for their endeavours last night. A great team performance with goals a plenty. We seemed to grow with confidence minute by minute and the movement and passing was sublime. All in all a great reaction following Saturday's debacle. That could of been the wake up call we needed to push towards a good run, finishing the season in style. COYP.

I thought Tangen looked really bright first half, best we've seen from him so far. But for me I thought Jones and Grant were the two stand-outs. I've been pretty critical of Grant but he had one of his best matches last night, so I voted for him. Can he finally finish the season in that kind of form?

Everyone played their part. Those who scored and those with assists, deserve special mention. However, I have gone for Matt Palmer. While he did nothing spectacular, he just makes the team tick. He gives those in front of him the platform to do what they do best. We have missed him in recent games.
