Notts meet Cheltenham after having a convincing 4:0 win at Accrington. Head Coach Martin Paterson will be hoping that they can carry on with the form they showed last Tuesday.

Cheltenham currently stand in 17th place on 42 points in League 2. They have won 11, drawn 9, & lost 17 of their 37 matches so far. As for their current form they have drawn 4 & won 1 of their last 5 matches.

Over the last 10 matches Cheltenham stand in 14th place in the form table & have earned 12 points, with 2 wins, 6 draws & 2 defeats. They have scored 15 & conceded 15 over those last 10 matches.

So looking at those Stats, Cheltenham have improved over the last 10 matches, & with their number of draws, they could be hard to break down. They have held Bromley to a draw & beaten Salford over those last 10 matches. So they shouldn't be underestimated.

It will be a tough match for Notts having lost their last two home matches, but after the win at Accrington, Martin does have different options, selection wise, at his disposal. He will be hoping that Jatta will be able to start on Saturday. Ndlovu should be available after his suspension.

If Notts can move the ball quickly as they did on Tuesday, they should cause Cheltenham plenty of problems. Another convincing win would do wonders for the confidence around the club, going into the last 8 games of the season.

Cheltenham, under former Notts Manager Steve Cotterill are on a 8 match unbeaten run. The last team to beat them were MK Dons. They have been steadily improving. It won't be an easy match today for Notts. They need to play at their best to get the win.

I still think Jatta will be on the bench, especially with Ndlovu back from his suspension. With Tangen, Bennetts, Hall and Grant I feel we have enough players that can fight for the attacking midfield spots. I'd probably go with Tangen and Grant today. And given we are without Robertson, Iorpenda has to be one of the central midfielders now, we’ve basically only got him Palmer and Norburn until the end of the season. I'd start him alongside Palmer again today.

The performance against Accrington was great, if we continue playing like that Cheltenham will be in for a tough afternoon.

MK Dons already 1-0 up as I type this, I think it's probably just the one automatic space left now, there's little room for error but I'm quietly confident we are up for the challenge!

The Notts side to face Cheltenham.
Jatta is in the starting eleven.

Nice team - and good bench

Bennetts can consider himself unlucky after Tuesday. My wish for him was about reward, but I think Tangan is the better bet for helping us get ahead today.

And delighted to see the same midfield pairing and Jatta back to start. COYP

4-2, get in! Goal of the season contenders from Palmer and Iorpenda.

Fun fact: of the ten goals we have scored this week, not one was scored by a striker.

Exhilarating win.

We desperately needed it to stay in touch for autos with 3 away games coming up.

Players seem to be getting the message now, no non-performances.

We keep losing defenders, and we should know it's not our strength, we have to play this attacking style to the end now and hope we keep blowing teams away.

Cheltenham made it very hard for Notts in the first half & they looked dangerous when they attacked us.

Credit to Martin for changing things in the 2nd half. The substitutes gave Notts more impetus helped by a winder goal from Tom Iorpenda.

84 points won the title last season. It may not even get a promotion place this season the way things are going.
