Rangers bring in 5

It seems the connection may be working in Rangers favour... 5 of Newcastle's youngΒ  players have been loaned to the Scottish club, and while the article doesn't say, I suspect that all wages will be paid by Newcastle...

It's not really a surprise, all five players are nobodies and only 2 do I think can forge a career within leagues of the same stature as the Championship/ perhaps Premiership. It's not totally unheard of either, so for me it's not worthy of the headlines.

I wouldn't be surprised if Mike Ashley gears closer towards claiming further percentage of the club.

@Joe Jones mentioned this to me last night, as he covered the story on Sports Mole.

Double edged sword, as allegedly these 5 loanees HAVE to play if they are fit

If true, then the move is less odd in my opinion - as it will suit Newcastle more because they won't be getting the game time back home. The level Rangers are at will be good experience for them, it will be like joining a League One/Two side (by the level of their opposition) and yet they should feel like Manchester City going into games.

I hope it enables Rangers to move forward, Scottish football was better when Celtic and them was fighting for the title.

So the manager has to fit these 5 players in his team no matter how they or other team members are performing.?It seems the managers hands are tied and a bit stupid IMO.
