Good morning it's Tuesday!

Haha!! What a softie! ;)

My day started off quite average, now I'm on my own and I can't wait for the children to get back from school. My right knee has been hurting a fair bit recently, not sure it's agreeing with me playing football but I am being careful. I have a re-release of 'Our Club, Our Passion' scheduled to be released and I wrote an article about Shaun Derry which will go live from 3pm.

I would appreciate all who read this to take a moment to read it and leave me a comment.

Then I hope to finalize the gathering piece, I have a draft but I want it to be spot on before I publish it.

What is everyone else up to today?

Just been to fetch George from school and he came out proudly carrying a trophy for "Star of the Day", I was so pleased for him, its only the second time he has won it, he has had recent behavioural issues so hopefully he is turning the corner.

He can't wait to show his mum and dad.

Been a weird day for me. Spent the whole day trying to sort finances out. Ensuring I'm getting whatever is available is very difficult if you've never done it before.

You say to someone that you've left a fairly well paid job to help the wife out and care for your disabled son you get the strangest looks.

Tax people aren't much help because, without entering into an immigration conversation, they are very keen to put stumbling blocks in the way of someone just looking to see what's available out there after 20 something years of paying top whack ni contributions and top tax!

The assumption you are fiddling is quite annoying, but hopefully got a few things sorted now.

Officially Ben's carer now so can claim carers allowance for him which as they say every little helps.
