Based on the one Notts match I've seen this season(Bury)there doesn't seem too much wrong.Ok Bury are a poor side  but I did witness the worst and best of Notts.CK will be very busy sorting out who's staying  and who's going and then he has to try and persuade the players he wants to actually sign .If Notts can find that elusive player with an eye for goal(and other players too) and turn 1point into 3points then this time next year you may all be looking at automatic promotion.

Don't start! LOL... Lets get stability, our thoughts and ideas into perspective so we can avoid the dreams being burst if it's not to happen. I agree to a point, a few different players and a goal scorer we could be fighting the top end of the league but I won't pin any hopes on this. 4-5 players required much better than what we do have in order to rival any of the teams coming down.

There is a school of thought that suggests that Keith Curle and his assistants weren't sacked for football reasons but because Ray isn't willing to put more money into the club and it was a cost cutting exercise. I am tending to go along with this. The evidence points to it being true, one of the highest earning players (Lee Hughes) allowed to leave without an adequate replacement, KC and his assistants being sacked and the youth team manager being promoted to the job which is obviously a cheaper option and now the pronouncement that we are going to rely on youth team players and nurture them to become squad players in the first team.

I am not blaming Ray for taking this course of action, he has pumped a lot of HIS money into the club and obviously there comes a point when he must think enough is enough, he has done a great job since he became chairman with vast improvements being made in all areas particulary off the field. As long as Ray remains the owner and unless he gets some new investment into the club and think the days of signing high earning players and big name managers are over.

I really hope that his strategy works and that in a couple of years we have maybe half the first team consisting of home grown players, it would be great to see home grown players like Tommy Johnson, Mark Draper et al, gracing Meadow Lane again.

Better to sort out finances now than end up in the mess that quite a few other clubs are in.There will be some unpopular developments coming up and progress may not be evident and slow.

It's debatable.

The loss of income from attendances must be outweighed, the danger of our figures slipping much lower would mean that the playing budget will eventually suffer further. It's strange, I wouldn't have thought Mr Trew would appear by video link for a fans forum and I will openly say he should be present. It leaves me to thinking if it becomes 'difficult' the link will be closed, though I wouldn't blame that considering some of our fan base but It's disappointing. I have the utmost respect for the Trews, they've done wonders for the club.

I'm not sure about the rumours, it's easy to say this is the reason when placed with the current situation but I wouldn't personally pay attention until there's more to go on.

Mr Trew is supposedly selling the club, I would imagine this would be hard to keep quiet. I hear so many things since starting Pride of Nottingham that my thoughts remain on the passion side of things and not what's going on behind the scenes. I just don't know what to believe, so hopefully tomorrow we can get some answers. I wouldn't insult anyone, as some are claiming we deserve 'honesty'. I believe we will be told the truth, lies become harder to keep after time.
