Notts County 1 - 2 Walsall
Slight disappointment in the loss. Although, for a change, it hasn't ruined my life :-) Just as we could have moved up a little and pulled a small gap from them below us, we go and let ourselves down. Still its not a problem, we had to lose at some stage. Hopefully the team will spur themselves on and start a new run. Starting with the FA Cup on Sunday. You Pies!

The Importance of Youth
Hayden is developing well. He has proved he can hold his own in the back four already. His play and positioning reminds me of Mike Edwards. Steadfast will be a good description of him. Its nice to see a young lad come through the ranks at Notts. It also gives something for the other lads to look to and to try and achieve the same. I am looking forward to the next few years to see how many youngsters progress through the system and into the playing squad. Nice little article. Enjoyed the read.

PoN on One - #1
Nice feature. Didn't realise I was up against Dan. Well done mate. Can't wait to read future ones. Rematch? Nah, retire as champion. (Only joking)

Walsall 1-1 Notts County
Exactly "still known as to many fan" But it is the Banks's Stadium http://www.saddlers.co.uk/club/visit-us/ I would post my ticket, but haven't a clue how to do it. :-) Renamed in 2007

Walsall 1-1 Notts County
Good write up, just as I saw it. Not a dig, but it was the Banks's Stadium.

Chairman's Notes - Sheff Utd
Sensible comments from a sensible chairman. Ray is a credit to Notts. Let's hope he is rewarded with another promotion in the near future.

Good news, Pitch inspection passed at 10am. Athough ref carrying out precautionary check at 1pm. Temp should rise above zero today, so there shouldnt be any problems pitch wise. I drove in to ticket office yesterday afternoon and all routes were clear.

Saturday Wasen't So Bad...
Good read weymouthPie. I felt that we totally matched the blades and even out played them in a lot of areas. I was worried when the team news came out. Only three at the back. I thought we would get hammered. Not the case, I think the lads adapted to the system and played well. Zoko....... I felt sorry for him. Being in the KOP, my view of the tackle was that it was fair. The problem was (IMOP) the inept lines man. He had already made the mistake for the corner that they scored from. Now he flagged for this. OK Zoko should have kept his cool. At least he will get a day off against Oldham.

Nice to see comments from those that do follow their team home and away. I hope you have a good night out at Meadow Lane Bob. But hope it is also a long journey home with no points. (Although we just can't win at home :-) )
