Playground for dogs?

Featured Replies

The good people of Rushcliffe have raised £3,000 to create a playground for dogs including see saws, tunnels etc.,

What do you think of this?

Apologies to any dog owners but I do think SOME owners go over the top with their dogs and treat them like children. Ridiculous.

This would only happen in Rushcliffe.

Let them take their dogs over the river and into the Meadows. Then they'd see what their dogs are made of!

Big silver collars with spikes are essential :)

It annoys me when I see dog owners dressing their dogs in silly clothes and pushing them around in pushchairs.Talk about pampering.Ridiculous.

In some senses it would be nice for them, dog owners can bond with their pets whilst keeping them fit.

The other hand it sounds odd coming from text, yet I think people would see it differently if they saw images of what it may look like. Calling it a 'playground' is a little extreme, yet if you go on many parks you will see zones for dogs to be able to do all sorts already.

I wonder if there will be a sign saying "no children allowed"

There are dog play areas in parks in the states already designed for dogs.

When people ask what 'American Pie' is about, they're missing the point. The song isn't about the lines themselves - it's about what is between the lines. The song is about what isn't there.
