Pinch punch first of the month. Apparently meteorlogically speaking it is now Autumn, how depressing!

Today it's back to normal for us as our grandsons will be here soon after their two week holiday, so we will have to occupy them somehow until mum gets home from work tonight.

Today is diy day for me. Time to get the last of the little jobs done that need finishing before we start minding full-time again (most of ours are school time only we suits us perfectly so our own two get some time away from the minded lot!)

New ceiling rose to go up and be wired in, New shelving to go up in the garage, get new dishwasher delivered as the old one gave up yesterday (but it has survived for three months on the kick it and it'll work routine) new fixtures in the downstairs bathroom to go up and time to measure up for a new stairgate for the hallway as one of the new ones starting likes to escape!
