Are Notts in a (Branston) pickle?

This has been a horrible season for Swindon Town but not, it seems, as bad as yours. We too had three managers but at least the third is still in post and we finished on a four match unbeaten run.

I am not surprised at Mark Cooper's decision. Reading between all the lines it seems that he had little control over player recruitment here which was largely the domain of our Chairman who is an ex professional footballer. From what you have said at Notts he would have been out of the frying pan and into the (hell)fire.

I wish you all well for the future and will keep watching PON to check on your progress.

Best wishes to all.

Haha!!

I don't blame Cooper at all, if I was a manager - I'd want the players I liked (as they would play to my system) but I think it's much more than just recruitment. In my opinion, and that of many supports Notts has been a circus, we are fairly used to people moving on because of that, we'll be okay.
