Bowery to the O's

Jordan Bowery has gone to Leyton Orient on a two year deal, so that is the end of that rumour. Are we still in the market for another striker? I can only see it if McLeod is moved on at the moment, but will wait and see.

Considering how desperate we are normally to have bulk upfront, I would say we are a little short.

Not that I feel we need six to seven strikers, not at all but I think we could do with one more. You can never focus on one area, signing players changes the balance and I think securing the services of another attacker would give us greater balance. That said, I am only hearing of defensive players now being mentioned. I'm sure we will still be looking into alternative options - I know we want to keep the squad numbers down but there are a few key areas which in my opinion will need strengthening.

John Sheridan may be happy at this stage.

A field where dreams become reality.

Jordan Bowery is no major loss.

He may be a Nottingham lad who started his career with the rams but he is just another average league two player. We should continue to seek out quality if we are to try and bounce back into the 3rd tier again.
