Unfortunate in the fact that we desperately need another couple of centre halves, but apparently he has no pace which is what our back four needs, along with aerial dominance.

He's a good player, nothing overly special but he would fit in at home in our defence - even your local postman would offer better cover mind. :P

My local postie is a woman and a Mansfield fan, so I doubt it! [emoji12]

Having read the web chat in the post must say it's a little disappointing that we have to move players on before we can sign what is much needed a new CB , that could prove costly , we may not find it easy to move them on , could cost us points and leave us playing catch up, its not a criticism of anyone just a concern, is the budget stretched ?

don't think the budget is stretched just we have loads of players like milsom who's always injured but won't move on as he's a injury prone and people won't take him.

Hewitt is another one rubbish who would take him Mcleod big wages who will offer him what we may be paying him.

its still a big squad to big

Lessons never learnt since Dave Robinson's Peterborough to Notts County transfer back in 1992. Danny Haynes had history of hamstring injuries...

There must have been some "smoke" pre season of Stevenage's interest in Idle and Stead's potential Scotland sojourn. It's  a shame we continue to have a legacy of mispent budgets.

If you learn something from every game, there shall come a point in time, when you should never lose... Jimmy Sirrel
