This will have done more for the players' confidence than a reserve game! I hope that the team can take some of the grit they showed today into the league. Why o why though do the opposition always look more up-for-it in the first quarter of an or so? It was good to see though that Notts didn't give up in the last quarter of an hour and got the equaliser.

That is an entertaining read.  I agree with how he describes the red card -  "Lee Angol battled his way along the left touchline, with Matt Tootle nipping at him from behind and inexplicably slowed down, turned round and shoved his hand into Tootle's face.  Obviously, if you raise your hand, then you're going to be first in the bath tub and Angol had no excuse for his bout of the red mists. But it was a push, not a punch, or even a hard slap".  Tootle basically play acted, not nice to see even though we have been victims on more than one occasion ourselves.  Also agree with how utterly useless the ref was (for both sides).  I would love to see the assessor's report, because the ref seemed way out of his depth.

What right do you have to tell me I'm wrong?  You're not my Granddaughter.

@DangerousSausage @Elite_pie Type of reports I would rather read than the so called professional at the Post
