Transfer embargo - no January signings?

I'm not sure if I missed this ... on 19 December our court appearance for the winding-up order was adjourned until February so that the sale of the club can go through.

While this is welcome, surely it means that we still have a transfer embargo. And thus no signings in the January window, which would leave us in severe trouble. Or am I standing on the hose?

All being well the sale will occur well before the end of January. According to CS Alan Hardy's Barrister has made assurances to the court (hence the adjournment) the bill will be paid immediately after, and thus the transfer embargo will end as well. So time to sign players hopefully...
