Burke and Snijders released

Not surprising. We may have found a club to take them off our hands, hence the termination. Snijders always seemed to have plenty of admirers, but a succession of managers must have overlooked him for a reason.

They can only sign for clubs below in the pyramid. Presumably Genaro will return home. Stan, Burke, Genaro, 3 of Sheridan's presumed 5 have gone.. maybe Rodman was another?

Burke will prove himself elsewhere, he has a good pedigree and his ability can further improve. Our fans like to blame him too easily, and although he wasn't as big of a signing I'd have liked - I am certain he will find a club. Walsall may be interested?

Snijders was always expected but thus frustrates me.

He was never given any sort of chance to showcase his talent, we cry out for a pacey and direct winger but fail to select him on the bench?

God knows but we'll never know how big he could have been for Notts.

Both makes sense bug Yeates hasn't convinced me he's a good signing and I hate replacing players for the sake of it.

They need to settle and be given a chance, to a degree Burke has though.

A field where dreams become reality.

I wish them both well in the future , sometimes things just don't work out for players at a club then they go elsewhere and become a hit and do well , I thought Burke would have done well for us as he does possess some ability but sadly it never really got going with any of the managers , so it could be a good thing all round .

Burke has totally the wrong attitude to be a professional footballer. If he ever calls himself that he should be prosecuted under the TDA.

@notts-joe agree with you on Snijders but our views on Burke couldn't be any more further apart, Burke was a waste of a player, lazy, lack of positional awareness, no pace, only ever looked out for himself(always trying to do stupid tricks in stupid positions or when we're losing 3-0), and worst of all he had a terrible attitude.. That said he scored a good goal against Villa and that's all he'll ever be remembered for in a Notts shirt..
